I followed a WW program several years ago and it was effective. I just found that when I ate things that were not in my book, I would need to calculate the points using calories and other information. So decided I would rather just track calories and nutrition information. It just depends though, as the social support aspect is quite helpful.
I think WW is a great program. It helps you to watch your portions and teaches the good and bad foods. I am not currently on it but was last year. It still helps me even though I'm not an active member. Good luck!
