Enjoy the process and it will happen! I know it is frustrating, but all of the advice is great. Don't stress and you are young so it will happen! I am 31 and I was told by my dr. that she doesn't even want to see me for a year before taking action if it does not happen. We are on our 4th month of trying and I'm done stressing out because I think it really affects conception!! Good luck and baby dust to you!! :)

I wasn't on any birth control for about 7 years before we started TTC. My OBGYN seemed to think that we should have had an unplanned pregnancy during that time but we didn't. So...by the time we were actually ready to try I was very freaked out. It took my best friend over a year the first time and she end up miscarrying. It also took over a year the second time for her but that resulted in a healthy baby. So needless to say I was worried about getting pregnant and also the possibility of losing a baby. Long story short we got pregnant after 9 months of trying and are now almost 17 weeks along.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions! I really appreciate it. My husband and I are both under 30 and I stopped BC in January. I will definitely take a look at the website suggestions. I just hope for this to be easy. I get scared because I know it can be a long process. Let's hope for the best!
I also use MyMonthlyCycles.com. It helps me track my menstruation, ovulation, weight, etc. They also have pregnancy, menstrual cycle and ovulation calculators...and a LOT more! Its free to sign-up. I've used it for years and I love having all my "women" tracking in one place, instead of using a calendar.

for the girls who are just starting their TTC journey I would also recommend checking out http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ which has tons of information on figuring out the most fertile days (with tutorials and questions on temping and other signs). Good luck to all of you!!!

Hello HEARTS! Like others have already said-it can take up to a year for a healthy couple to achieve pregnancy. If you suspect that you or your hubby have any medical issues that can be preventing conception, make an appointment and have a check-up to be sure. Also, if you already in your 30s, you should actually see your doc sooner(experts recommend trying for a max of 6 months). Since the women's fertility rate drops in their 30's, doctors recommend not wasting anytime if fertility treatments are needed. If you are in your 20's and just started-don't fret! I know its easier said than done because I am going thru the same thing myself. Just relax(stress can affect fertility) and just enjoy this special time in your lives...you will be pregnant and busy with a little one before you know it!!! A great book to read is What To Expect Before Expecting. It talks about a lot of this and so much more. Best wishes!!
Were you on any type of birth control before? I know that can affect your cycles. Have you been tracking ovulation or anything? This is our second month trying and I'm pretty sure we missed this month as well. We just have to remember to be patient, even though it's the hardest thing to do! : )

It takes an average healthy couple from 6 months to a year to get pregnant, and none of the specialists will see you unless you've been TTC for at least 12 months or unless you have a known medical issue. Notwithstanding the foregoing, I really hope that you can get your BFP very quickly.

My hubby and I have been TTC for 2 months and I'm worried how long it will take to finally get pregnant. Has anyone been though this struggle? I know I shouldn't be worried since we haven't been trying to long but I am. Thoughts?
