My boyfriend and I have been together for a little over 6 years. I've been on and off my weight loss journey because of the fact that I always give up after we go out somewhere and I mess up with a cheat meal. This time I am gonna not give up and try my best to work that off. We've talked about doing this journey together, but with our work schedules it's kinda hard to do things together. I know that's just an excuse but it's at least a truthful one. I am tired of always feeling sorry for myself and I am ready for that to change. I'm glad I stumbled across this group and I know it's been inactive but I am hoping that is about to change since all of us girlfriends should stick together. haha

Hey everyone my name is Jes and my boyfriend and I are actually on this journey together! I portion out our meals and motivate him to keep up with the exercise so we hold eachother accountable.
Tom and I met online about two years ago. We instantly clicked and have so much fun together. We love to ride the motorcycle, play with our puppy Drogo, and go on adventures!

Hey! I'm new to the group, and I was really happy to find one like this.
For starters, my name is Kat. I'm 22, from the MidWest and I'm currently in a long distance relationship. We actually met through my ex-boyfriend (which is a very long unpleasant story, but I'm happy to share). They were gaming buddies online and we got started talking, had more in common, stayed friends throughout my then very rocky relationship, and started dating in Dec of 2011.
Since then, I have had a lot of ups and downs, and I've gained somewhere in the neighborhood of 70+ pounds. He still says I'm beautiful no matter what and he has been hugely supportive! Of course, he is also stick thin and has horrible eating patterns (which I aim to help him change). Though, his weight is partially due to the chemo and radiation he went through years ago. Still a skinny little guy.
Currently, he is a truck driver and all over the place, and I am recently unemployed. Neither of us are able to live the lifestyles we'd like, but for now we're just trying to do our due diligence so it can happen at some point.

Tell everyone about your boyfriend and how you met. Also tell about how he is with your weight loss journey (helpful, doing it together etc)
So my boyfriend is Erich. We have been together since March 2012. We met well doing our associate's degrees in communication. We have so much fun together and we laugh a lot. We can be ourselves which means sometimes really weird. We love each other a lot. We haven't had many fights but when we do we don't let it sit there for long. We work it out and are stronger because of it. Right now we are long distance. I got to school in south jersey and he stay in Northeast PA. So we have about 3 hours between us. I try to go home a few weekends and he visits when work and school permits. We both graduate though after the next school year so then hopefully we will be close again. I was losing weight and was down to 214 when we started dating. Life got out of control for a while though so here I am again. He has never said anything about my weight. he is a stick only weighs about 140-150. He eats mostly junk and won't touch vegetables. He drinks way too much soda too. I let it slide for now.
