gah! I have no idea what to do for Valentine's Day :( He doesn't seem that bothered and usually I'm not that bothered but I would like to do something nice....any ideas?? We practically live together and usually have dinner together and he's a regular do-er of cute things for me....I'm a very lucky girl!

This year my bf will not be able to spend the day together due to his work and my schooling which really sucks, we were really looking forward to spending the day together.

But to help avoid the candy trap tell your boyfriend if is going to buy to candy tell him you want a chocolate flower (which is 2 Hersey kisses wrapped in red paper and with a fake flower stem which can normally be found at the local dollar store)

Cook a nice meal including dessert together, or one the entree and the other make dessert and search out low calorie menu items.

Ah, one of the three days per year wherein candy plays a significant role. Where flowers and cards and cutsieness reigns extreme.

What I'm getting at here is Valentine's Day is coming up. Yes, it IS taken over by Hallmark, but that doesn't mean there shouldn't be a day just devoted to appreciating your significant other.

So what are your plans, surprises and ways to avoid the candy trap this year?
