I avoid MSG because I get an MSG reaction. Lipton Soup Mix is often listed as gluten free and I was told recently that it was by my Celiac group in Canada. However, all the lists I find it on are very old. The latest list produced on Delphi Celiac Forum does not list it. It is made by Unilever. Here are the Canadian phone numbers Unilever Canada 1 800-697-7887 Unilever Canada Consumer Services 1 800 565 7273
Here is a link to an Onion Soup Mix if you want to make your own to use in a recipe (patch link together): http://www.glutenfreeforum.com/lofiversi on/index.php/t18490.html
Many canned tuna's are gluten free. Look for water pack or read the ingredients list. If it is only tuna, water and salt, I would use it.
I use wheat free Tamari sauce (low sodium) for soy sauce. And there are GF beers available now - Grist, Bard's and one other.
