There was a great piece on the gut issues on Dr. Oz a couple of months ago. It really connected with me because it talked about healing and what happens in the gut. I lost 3# immediately, then about a 1lb a week after that. Doesn't sound like much but this is huge for me. and I wasn't hungry, lost my sugar and coffee cravings. The digestive supplements were expensive but it's been so worth it! It's important to read all 3 pages of the article. www.doctoroz.com/videos/3-day-jumpstart-cl

Should add that it is a part of a book and eating plan. I just followed what was said on the Dr. Oz video segment. I don't think of it as a diet but an eating program.

You might want to keep track of when you get bloated to see what food is causing it. You also might have a problem with corn since it is a grain too.

I have been struggling with MANY food intolerances for many years. Finally had the ALCAT test done 2 years ago and again 9 mos. ago. I'm making progress but still have a lot of daily bloating & swelling even though I'm avoiding my issue foods (gluten, dairy, soy, red meat etc).
When I take the time to use my juicer first thing in the morning (on an empty stomach) my stomach always seems SO much happier the rest of the day, even though I pretty much eat the same diet otherwise.
Has anyone else experienced this?
It seems weird to me that just that one drink in the morning can make that much difference in my bloating/swelling.

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear.

There's no point to life if I don't have peanutbutter and chocolate.

I only need money to pay the bills. I don't want STUFF. STUFF doesn't bring me happiness it just clutters my life. Love fills the holes and makes me complete.
