I get weary of the hyper vigilance some days. Yesterday was one of them.
I feel like I'm always the problem child when I just want to blend in with the crowd.

Whenever I get upset about having to give up gluten I think about how I feel when I have gluten. This helps me stay focused. It isn't worth the pain I feel if I eat gluten. Now don't get me wrong there are days where I would just love to eat a piece of chocolate cake and not have to worry about it.

I would get articles that tell the damage done to the body when you eat foods with gluten in and show them to your family and friends

Dorothy

If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things He is teaching us in our spirit.

I struggle when we go to family or friends' homes for gatherings. They try, but don't quite get the concept of cross-contamination. I could tell real soon if I've had something with gluten...UGH!!!

As far as my own cooking and baking...I've found amazing recipes and the best all purpose GF flour. It is awesome and I love it. It's called Jules and I order it from her website!!

When I first started out did. I had to keep telling my self how much damage I was doing to my body and it could later affect my quality of life down the road. !2 years later I still will have a bite once in a blue moon. I don't get sick when I have tastes but still know the damage is being done. You can do it.

I have no issues with sticking to it, I get horribly sick if I don't! It is great incentive to be good!
