I try to remember to wear my Road ID when I'm out and about. Here are some sources if you're interested; also, please share your own links if you have them. A lot of us have complicated medical needs and this eases my mind that the EMTs'll get it right if they need to.
I recently saw on the news that people are also tattooing their medical emergency info on their bodies, esp on the wrist where an EMT might look for a bracelet. Interesting.www.roadid.com
(For instance: on my Road ID, I put name, birth yr., then next line: CELIAC: GLUTEN FREE MEDS. Emergency personnel'd then look up my serial no. and PIN on the back to find my personal medical history, doctors, contacts online.) There is a fee for this service (I look at it like insurance).
I found this one on Facebook, and haven't used them, but it looks helpful: bit.ly/MAk8DR
Have a great gluten-free day everyone! Hope we never need these!
