When I was in California last month at my sister's, I made the Betty Crocker Yellow Cake Mix. I substituted unsweetened apple sauce for the eggs as my nephew's new wife is allergic to them. It turned out fine although I think there was too much oil in it. I would cut it down the next time. I would also add some vanilla as I thought you could taste the apple sauce too much. It made a really nice pound cake substitute with strawberries and everybody could eat it.

They just have too many calories in them and also they have corn in them and I can't have corn either
If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things He is teaching us in our spirit. You might look at Amazon. They have a lot of good prices and if you do the subscribe and save it is even cheaper. I hardly ever buy a mix for that reason. I find what I make from scratch is much better anyway.
So sorry, but I have to VENT. In a new store in town, I saw a $7 GF cake mix. Wow, What's in there that it would cost that much, I asked. In addition to the expensive mix, I needed to add 1 stick of butter and 3 eggs. Are they out of their mind? I didn't look at the calorie count (another added cost) before I put it back on the shelf.
