Hi Barb. We have a wonderful group and know that we will support each other. Besides that we have a fantastic group leader. How can we lose.

Cindy, I like it. I think that a separate forum for the Goals would be a great idea. Like for instance - Miles walked day and/or week, water intake for the day and/or week and anything else someone would like to add to it. What do you think?

Cindy- I like your goal topic plans. They are specific enough to get us tracking and motivated with the freedom to choose what we individually need to work on. I would both use and find this beneficial as I work on getting healthy. Smiles Barb

GFNOMAD (Barb) I was going to make a sticky topic for supporting each others personal goals. Such as my running goal of 10 miles a week, and Barb (HEALTHY BARB) might have a 2 mile walking goal and Char (CTRAVEL) might have a water goal. We could all support and report on our goals but yet not have to have a defined team goal like you do on the goal section. Thoughts on this?

Since there's a separate section for Team Goals adding Team Goals should not change our existing Sticky Topics. thanks!

So if I am summarizing this right...people want a forum for support for their goals. Maybe some water or other team goals for fitness. What about doing a fitness minutes goal? Like 150 minutes a week or 600 minutes a month (30 min 5x a week)? Water is on every team I think so if you are on any others it is probably there...but I will put it if people want it.

Definitely a goal support forum! I will find a Sticky Topic or something to replace and put that in ASAP!

Hi! I don't do much on Sparks because so much emphasis on tracking what I eat - and it seems like an impossible chore on line. Exercise is sporadic, but if I had to report daily or weekly I might do better - My arthritis affects some days - not all by a long shot. And weekly weighs ins - I like too. So yes, I think team goals would be a good thing, something I would participate in.

With God, NOTHING is impossible.

Maybe a forum discussion of our individual goals so we can support one another in keeping on track? BTW thanks to a recent discussion here I am tracking my eating pattern again. So support does work.

In the two teams that I am leader of I have set up a forum thread for daily exercise. Not very many people actually post there. Seems like the same 3 or four people is all.

We've left it out because there is so much support work going on with the gluten free diet. But if you want to set them up, that's fine with me. I don't participate in any team goals simply because I don't have the time to track it. I know what I need to do and having goals doesn't change what gets done. In fact, I was reflecting on it this morning before I read this, that everytime I set goals, the reverse seems to happen!

We could also just have a forum where we write down what are individual goals are for the month and encourage each other as we work on them. Barb

Cindy, how about weighing in once a week and try to lose at least 1-2 lbs a week. I think this would be doable. Also drinking at least 6-8 glasses a water a day. This is one that I really have to work on. See what everyone else has to say.

Is anyone interested in setting team goals? I was editing some on another team and it occurred to me we don't have any here. What are people's thoughts on this?
