Oh Donna that is too bad. Yes, it would be great if we lived closer as I do like the bread. Can you get ahold of where you bought the bread to see if they could exchange it with something else. Do not know if they can do that with bakery stuff. I have used some other bread that I bought and did not like and did bread crumbs with them. It is so true that one can use just so much bread crumbs. Hope that you find one that you like.
DH and I went to a friend's house for dinner Thursday night and she made Mac and Cheese (gluten free) and it was good. She also made Cole Slaw which I really do like. It was really good; however half way through eating (I ate two helpings of the Cole Slaw) I started to feel really funny. I go the feeling that I was drunk and got this horrific headache. I asked her what she put into her Cole Slaw and she was telling me that she put olive oil/white vinegar/almond slivers and a package of the seasoning from the Ramon Noodles. I checked the ingredients and it has wheat.
She only put about 1/3 of the package, if that much. She felt so bad. I told her that it was not her fault as I should ask what people they put in their food, but who would of thought of Cole Slaw. I had to go home as I was getting really sick.
By time I got home, I was sick to my stomach but did not (excuse the graphics) throw up. I was in bed early and when I was in bed the room started to spin like crazy. It usually takes me about an hour to get sick, but this time it only took me about 20 minutes. Well, if I had any thoughts of having gluten that went right out of my head.
I was still very tired the next day. What a mess. This is the first time that I have really been sick since Christmas.
Just doing odds and ends around the house today as we are now getting our hot weather and am sure it will be here until sometime in September.

Char, I wish you lived close and I would give you the 2 loaves of Canyon bread that I bought. I had heard such great things about this bread but even toasted it is so gummy I tried letting the bread dry out a little bit and than toasting but still didn't like it. Bread that I don't like ends up being made into bread crumbs but one can only use so much. I have tried bread pudding but that didn't taste good at all.
