still cheering for Federer (and Nadal a bit). Butr what Djokovic is doing this year is great. The french open is starting in june. See if he can continou his streak. Diet must be key for him, althoigh he always was a great player
Yeah, it does make me wonder how much experience the nutritionist referenced has with celiacs. Not bad articles I thought, and nice that the story received national mention. But agree, since Djokovic was found to be positive for the condition, celiac, and with the many negatives that condition is known to have on the body, it doesn't not surprise me that Novak is performing better on the court now.
And now that I know he avoids grains, like me, I'll have to watch him more often!
Overall, I think even many non-celiacs will find benefit eating wheat free. Remember seeing nutritional writer Tom Naughton writing about his personal experience, along with others, of going grain free last week.
Hey Kate- my fibromyalgia has improved with celiac diet too! I think that the healing of our immune system helps us to have a total body that functions better. I am not a tennis star but I know how I feel. Eating healthy and putting in better fuel results in a physically better body! Barb

It truly doesn't surprise me. I still have some fibromyalgia problems, but they are so much better than they were while I was eating whole grains which contained lots of whole wheat! My thyroid is levelling out, and my energy level is way higher for the most part. Hmmm. I'm not advocating it for everyone, but, when you feel like doodoo, maybe it's worth trying. :) Kate
