The article is written from the perspective that grains/grasses have "anti-nutrients" which could pose a GI hazard, ie LECTINS. Millet has a "similar" protein to gliadin. This is the premise of the paleo or primal diet. If you are not feeling 100% on a gf diet, these other grains/grasses might be why. Or it could be dairy, coffee, and/or alcohol and so on.

"Some symptoms may occur chronically and may seem in no way related to a gut/food or lectin intolerance reactions. This group of symptoms includes the so-called degenerative diseases and autoimmune diseases ... including atherosclerosis, hypertension, osteoporosis, senile dementia, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory joint diseases, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and adult onset diabetes. Obesity has been associated with consumption of 'enemy' lectins."
