Just made the coq au vin, left out the bacon and added more mushrooms. It was delicious.

Last Sunday I had a bunch of chicken breast and a craving for cranberries. I scoured her site and found Orange Chicken, Lemon Chicken and Chicken w/ Apricot preserves.

Apricot preserves won out as I was short on time and the other two required searing the chicken w/ flour first. I put it in the recipes (Crockpot Apricote & Cranberry Chicken) and it was emoticon

I am really enjoying the crock pot site. Here are the ones I have found that are good and can fit into the diet: beef and broccoli; garlic chicken; baba ganoush (this was SO good; I put in a little less tahini to make it lower cal). Anyone else have any favorites from the site that are diet friendly?

Thanks for the site and I too do that with the blogs and also end up at another page or end up closing it when I am writing on the blog. Very frustrating. So just know that you are not alone on doing those things too. emoticon

If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things He is teaching us in our spirit.

I also haven't gone wrong...I do sometimes just look at her stuff for inspiration and make it my own way too, but any way you use it it is a great blog!

Kristen no problem. I know about hitting the wrong button. What is infuriating is typing a long post and somehow you hit something and poof it is gone.
I am really good about doing that. lol

Hi C-Travel,
I am relatively new to the whole posting thing; I just realized I must have hit reply on the wrong message maybe. The Make it Fast, Cook it Slow book was the one I had seen and was going to try, and I thought I was responding to the email about that book and its accompanying blog. But I am always looking for easy healthy GF recipes...as I am sure everyone is. But, I had actually meant to direct my question to the lovely person who replied with the blog. Sorry! As I said, this whole posting to message boards is still new to me.

Oh great -- I love free. And I see what you mean. It also helps to read the comments, because then you get to see what other folks thought.
Do you have any favorites from a healthy perspective?

I know that posted a crock pot cook book. It is Fix-It and Forget-It. It is not gf but you can substitute gf flour, etc. I do not know if this is the one you talking about..

Thank you. Just looked up the book -- Make it Fast, Cook it Slow, on Amazon. Some love it, others seem to think the author didn't try out the recipes and that they don't turn out properly...
Do people here like the recipes? I hope so...sounds too good to be true...easy and GF...

Hi,
So a while back someone posted about a crockpot cookbook that also happened to be gluten free. I have searched but can't find it. Argh. Anyone remember it?
Thanks!
Kirsten
