Oven wise I'd put them at 325 or 350 and check them every 5 minutes or so. Should take about 10-20 minutes. Nothing higher than 375. Anytime I'm not sure on temp I'll set the oven about 325.

Let me know how you do it not using the microwave and what you used and how it came out. Thanks.

Good to know it still came out with added ingredients! I don't do the artificial stuff at all anymore because of the health risks and the possibility it may have aggravated my GI issues. Good to know honey works too!

The apples(1/4 of an apple) and walnuts turned out great this morning.

Now I am thinking, a bit of banana and nuts, or blueberries? I bet these would make great pancakes with just a touch of the maple syrup I just ordered.

ps. I used honey instead of splenda, my body doe not like artificial sweeteners

This is very popular on the low carb teams...I used to belong to those and this was a breakfast staple! I have not had one in a while but think I will start making them again (minus the splenda I don't do artificial sweeteners anymore). I need fast ideas that will stick with me other than hard boiled eggs!

I made the muffins in a minute recipe and it was great. Thanks for posting it! Next time I think I will try putting in some walnuts and apples.

Here is a repeat of it, and the comment that followed:

Muffins in a minute

1 egg
1 tsp olive oil or butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 splenda packet (that equals 1 tsp)
1/4 c flax seed meal

Directions

1 stir dry ingredients together
2.whisk oil and egg
3 mix wet with dry, mix well
5.spray mug/small bowl with nonstick spray
5.Microwave until done (recipe said 1 minute) mine is done in 40 seconds. Don't overcook.

This was from one of the members and I did make it and it is really good. I just microwave mine for 40 seconds and it came out really good.
If you try, let me know what you think.
