I cook uop a batch of GF oats so I have enough to just microwave them for a minute on busy mornings. There is a slow cooker way what you can find on the sparkrecipes. I also use organic cornmeal, lots of quinoa and brown rice and lots of water. I sometimes use psyllium, too. Kate

I agree with the ground flax just make sure you grind it yourself with a little coffee grinder or something. My ND informed me to quit buying the preground stuff as it is usually rancid. She said the oils are so delicate that even your high end more expensive stuff goes rancid too fast. It does more harm than good if it is rancid. You are better off to buy the seeds and then grind them. Just a little tidbit. But flax is very very good for you!

I take 3-4 spoonfulls of psyllium husk a day in addition to tons of fruits and veggies. The psyllium is the soluble fiber I was lacking due to the GF diet. Been regular ever since! I also drink tomato juice every day for potassium but it has fiber too.

You can get ground flax seeds at Walmart in the vitamin section. Just make sure that you put it in the fridge after you open it.

1 stir dry ingredients together 2.whisk oil and egg 3 mix wet with dry, mix well 5.spray mug/small bowl with nonstick spray 5.Microwave until done (recipe said 1 minute) mine is done in 40 seconds. Don't overcook.
This was from one of the members and I did make it and it is really good. I just microwave mine for 40 seconds and it came out really good. If you try, let me know what you think.

I tend to get between 35 and 50 grams a day. What helps me:
Protein: BEANS! :) Fruits: avocado, apples, bananas, strawberries, blueberries Veggies: lettuce, broccoli, cucumber, radishes Grains: any that are GF like brown rice, certified GF oats (if you can handle them)
MUSCLE DOES NOT WEIGH MORE THAN FAT 5 lbs = 5 lbs
5 lbs of muscle simply takes up less space than 5 lbs of fat!
If nothing tasted as good as being thin felt, no one would ever get fat!
FOOD TASTES GOOD Let us eat it in moderation.

Making your own vegetable/fruit juice is really helpful. We usually do carrot and apple, plus assorted other vegetables (celery, cucumbers, ginger, broccoli, beet greens--whatever is handy). A half cup a day usually does the trick.
