NOT all ciders are gluten free. I had another cider from the UK and had a bad reaction. Please check with manufacture or some of the GF lists.

Thanks for the warning on 120 wine - I will need to try Woodchuck cider...will be a nice alternative to wine. I have only tried Redbridge GF beer and didn't care for it.

There are some GF beers that taste like a dark beer to me, made by Green's from England. I can't remember the name of the stronger darker one but it was too much for me as I liked Canadian lagers.

Thanks for the tip I will avoid that wine!

OO I love me some woodchuck! Most ciders are ok to drink and are gluten free.

I like some of the hard ales like Strongbow and Woodchuck instead of beer or wine.

yes and no. sorry!

Some wines have nitrates that bother people or the barrels they are aged in have glue that contains gluten.

I am a huge wineo as I too had to leave all my wheat beers emoticon behind... But there is less calories in wine than the GF Beers out there.

This is the first time I felt a reaction to wine.

I am new to all of this gluten free but have been gluten free for a week now. I stopped drinking as beer was my drink of choice and of course dark beer was my favorite. although when i say drinking, i might have 2 beers a month...but of course now I have given it up. So is wine typically okay? I might want to have an occaisional glass of wine if it won't hurt me. Would appreciate any advise.

120 is the brand? Do you have any other information about it? I tried googling it, but didn't come up with a unique brand.

emoticonhi all. Just wanted to give people a heads up on a wine called 120. I had a white and a red and I just didn't feel right the next day. A lot of cramping, feeling I had to go and not.

When it happened after the 2nd bottle, I am thinking it is the wine. I don't really know where to check to see if it's one w/ gluten, but it bugged me so I figured I'd pass on the word to the rest of you.

bad emoticonbad!
