I was also delighted to see that Snickers was gluten free. It is one of my all time favorite candy bars. Do not have too many in the house or else I would eat them all lol.
Talking about Snickers, I love Dairy Queen as they have Blizzards. Well I got one in the beginning of this year. It tasted so good and about an hour after eating it, I got really sick. I started thinking what did I have that was gluten. Well I found out that the when they mix the blizzards with other flavors there was cross contamination. Well that ended my blizzards. I found out they only have two (2) containers. Charlene

Mexgal, not to burst your bubble but still check the ingredients since the same product in different countries can have different ingredients. Coke in the US uses HFCS but real sugar in Mexico. I've heard Corona in Mexico uses rice to ferment but in the US its Barley.
DotsLady - Thanks for the lists. Sad to say I don't get trick or treat-ers so nay candy I get is all for me. I try not to buy much but will get some as snacks or a treat in my lunch bag.

Thank you so much for these links. I am very recently diagnosed with celiac and this is all new to me. To add to my challenge, I live in Ajijic, Mexio a village along Lake Chapala(largest lake in Mexico 50 miles long) in central Mexico. Fortunately we have one store that caters to the gringo population and carries some gluten free products. Just checking out your links and finding out that snickers bars are okay just made my day as we can get them down here and I have to put weight on. I am one of those who has been losing weight over the last year due to no appetite and all the other symptoms that come with this disease. I had actually dropped down to 95 pounds on my 5'4" frame. Now up to 100. So thrilled that I can eat snickers. Thank you, Thank you!
