I make a Pumpkin Pie Protein/Fiber shake.
I use baked sweet potatoes, egg protein, whey protein,
ground flaxseeds, salba seeds, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, ginger, and then water, yogurt, milk, or a flavored water I make by simmering ginger skins (from peeled ginger) and/or pineapple skins (from peeling pineapples).
The shake offers carbs, protein, fiber, and plenty of nutrition plus it tastes like pumpkin pie in a glass!
you can make it with canned pumpkin (which is lower carb than sweet potatoes) or even a mixture of the two.
I put the ingredients in a large plastic pitcher and then use my hand immersion blender to mix.
