Wondergirl, I do not grind my own except for oatmeal (which I can handle).

Please make sure before you grind those beans that they are not one of the beans that have to be cooked first otherwise you'll get sick. I know kidney beans are one.

Don't know about that but I do love Bob Redman's pizza crust and I tried a good cake mix. I can't remember the brand but it was in a gormet box. It was good.

Also, does anyone have a good recipe for using corn flour. I got some, mixed it with my cookie cake flour (My own recipe, makes great muffins!), made some muffins and they turned out like boat anchors!

I grind my own rice flour! I first grind it up as fine as I can in my burr coffee mill I bought for that purpose, then run it through my KitchenAid grain mill. It takes a few times but turns out very nice! Much better than I have been able to buy. Hope this is of help.

Sorry, I have no experience with this, but I am interested in hearing what someone who has tried this has to say.

Since Heartland Mills stopped producing navy bean and pinto bean flours, I have been considering grinding my own bean flours. They add so much protein and good texture to GF baked goods. Has anyone tried to do this without a specialty grinder? I once tried to grind garbanzo beans in a Cuisinart and the beans shot through the plastic bowl, destroying it.
