Let's bump up the above post and keep signing away to let SP know of our interest and need. We've got a long list going, but I don't know how many names it'll take to get their attention - the more the merrier.
It has been a while since I asked SP, so we'll get as many names on the list as possible before pursuing it; say by the end of June or July because it's summer, and everyone's busy? Any thoughts are welcome.

I sent it in as a suggestion under contact spark people. Hopefully it helps. One can only hope :) There are a lot of great recipes in the sparkrecipe section.

It has been brought up before. They say the spark guy reads all his emails or what is on his spark page.
I would put it there.

I wonder if there is a way to get SP to add a gluten free-cassein free option to their meal plans? Does anyone know how to suggest it? There are more than 1000 people in this team so there is obviously a need. It would be nice to be able to put it in as an option on their meal planner/tracker.

Stephanie on the year of crock potting is a hoot! Love her! I have made a bunch of her recipes and Karina's as well.. very good!
My BF does not like and the crock pot lady (as she goes by!) has quite a few interesting recipes for fish in the crock. He'll be out of town 4 days a week this month, and I have a freezer filled w/ salmon, swordfish and mahi mahi that I am itching to try!

I was really happy to see this post. I have also been struggling with meal planning for Gluten Free. Wow that crock pot site is awesome. And so up my alley. Thanks for the advise. And if anyone wants to work on putting up a Meal Plan I am so for it. Maybe we can all make a day, and then we can come up with a week or so worth together.

Having apples on hand really work out well for me. They are a big boost for carbs, which is harder to get going GF.
They are filling too!

Don't have an idea for books, but I keep ready washed organic salad greens and shredded carrots handy, fresh fruit, dried fruit and nuts for snacking.
Cans of beans, sardines and tuna for salads. And frozen berries, yogurt and cottage cheese for breakfast and lunch, frozen veggies like peas and corn for salads or to heat up with a piece of fish.
There is something to be said for being a bit bored with food... you tend to eat less of it!

Never underestimate the value of getting out of your own way.
A resource that I used for meal planning before I went GF (and then found out that they have GF meals too) is www.savingdinner.com. There are three "menu mailers" she sends out each week, with different portion sizes available. The "Low Carb/Body Clutter" menu mailer has meals that indicate exactly what you need to change to make the meals gluten free. They use tons of veggies (which is one of my problems, forgetting to include veggies with my meals!) and are generally easy to make (and tasty too). I'm just finally getting ready to start seeing if I can "convert" some of the other meals to gluten free as well--sometimes it's as easy as just substituting GF pasta for regular pasta, sometimes more complicated.
She also has some books.. not sure if they have the GF options in them, though.
I'm sure there's other great services like this out there; this just helps me take some of the "thinking" out of trying to come up with meal plans for the week!

I find I need to keep my salad supplies on hand all the time. I make a quick easy salad, and eat it over 2-3 days. I also need to keep fresh fruit. I find if I run out, those are the days I don't get enough in.

Does anyone have a book to suggest or other resource that can assist me with meal planning?
I dislike spending time on food prep/cooking and need to work at making sure I have veggies everyday.
I am doing well at eating GF but I eat the same things over and over each day. Then when I can't eat whatever anymore I turn to a bag of chips or marshmallows to fill me up.
