Donna, Our favorite in our household is "No Hassle Banana Bread". You can get the recipe at the Bob's Red Mill website. They make GF flours and such. Occasionally I substitute some cinnamon flax seed oil for some of the canola oil and add nutmeg instead of ground cinnamon. The bread is moist and stays good for a week. You can also add nuts or raisins in as you like. I have done loaves and muffins. Enjoy! Sharon Sharon
*Without you I have no business in the kitchen - because I love Pampered Chef.
TBM, I have a great recipe, no corn and no dairy - It is in my tried and true cookbook. I'll post it in the Recipes section. Look for it in about 1/2 hr. And best wishes to all of those dealing with the after effects of Ike. Barb
Does anyone have a tried and true recipe for banana bread. It can't have dairy or corn and of course the wheat products. We have a JR college here and I met a girl who has these problems and she is coming for supper next week. I wanted to send her back to the dorm with some banana bread as she says she really misses it. My recipe has dairy so need something else.
I just got back from Houston, seeing my first grandchild, a boy. Yes, I had to evacuate 2 days after being there.
