there are a few websites that have restaurant listings around the country, but they, of course, only SELL them. at least some of the larger restaurants are carrying online gluten-free menus, and most of the fast food chains do so now as well. heck, i'm just happy to have a beer at a bar!

I hope the idea of having gluten free menus will catch on for restaurants in other parts of the country too. (I'm a little too far from Texas to drop in and try it out. :-)

For anyone near McKinney, Texas, Aparicio's down on the square has an excellent gluten free menu with good variety and healthy choices. They are also one of the only North Texas restaurants carrying Red Bridge, the gluten-free beer made by Anheuser Busch. It may not always be on my diet, but every now and then it's nice to actually drink a beer at a bar.
