Jen, I don't have any specific recipes using the Orange Creme shake mix.... usually just mix it with Vanilla PDM and water/ice, and away I go!

Using a Vitamix or like blender you can blend it until it get hots. You have to have the setting set correctly. (I thaw the veggies in the microwave or use fresh.)

You could use most any vegetable or leafy greens...

Katie - thanks for the recipes.... I printed them out and am definitely going to pass them along to some of my Herbalife friends!

I'm curious regarding blending everything "until warm" - how does this happen? Do you use hot water? are the veggies warm/hot? Are the veggies raw or cooked/steamed? I'm especially interested in the veggie soup - not a big fan of squash, but I might still try it.

Hey Jules! Glad you like adding the puddings, too! I had a really hard time finding sugar free pistachio - so when I finally found it, I bought a BUNCH!

Another "flavor changer" to try is any of the Torani Sugar Free syrups (same kind of syrups that they use at Starbucks and Caribou). Look in the Coffee aisle of your grocery store for them - I know that Cost Plus World Market has a fairly decent selection also.

You can also try flavorings and extracts (found in the spice aisle). Careful with adding those, tho... just a very little goes a long way!

I'm not a fan of peanut butter but have checked out several recipes from the links given. It has been such a lifesaver! I normally get bored of vanilla and chocolate and then that's when I want the burger from McDonald's! Now that I have these different recipes, I'm actually enjoying my shakes :o) My favorite thing to do is simply add some pudding powder. I have found that it gives the shake a thicker consistency and it doesn't seem as gritty. My go-to shake? Sugar free pistachio pudding with vanilla. YUM!

Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice.

I think I was the one that mentioned powdered peanut butter. You can find it in SOME stores (look on the top shelf where they have peanut butter) - The one I have is called PB2 by Bell Plantation. If you can't find it in local grocery stores, you can order it online directly from Bell Plantation.

Oh I agree that the Cookies & Cream are yummy shakes. I mix mine with the chocolate protein powder drink mix, crushed ice and water. Yum. I bought my frozen orange juice so I think tomorrow I will have my chocolate with chocolate protein, 2 TBLS frozen orange juice, crushed ice and water. There are so many possiblities. Earlier someone mentioned powdered peanut butter, where do you find that at?

I like the C&C Shake mix a lot. there are little tiny "cookie" crunchies in the mix (about the size of a chia seed, if you've seen those). Almost as versatile as the Vanilla or Chocolate mix.

Perhaps if you want to expand your inventory, try buying 3 canisters/month - and switch off what you use? That way you'd have 1/3 of 3 different flavors at the end of the first month, and a bit more at the end of the 2nd, and within a few months, you'd have "some" of all of the flavors! :-)

Just a thought...... :-)

How is the cookies and cream shake mix? I have been wanting to try it since I started, but haven't had a chance to yet. I'm limiting myself to only getting two shake canisters a month since that is all I need, or else I might just buy them all.

Hey everybody! I have concocted some awesome shakes lately and I really want to share them with you!

I have found that I love the vanilla shake mix the most because I can dress it up as much as I like.

These are my three new go to recipes.

This one kind of reminds me of a butterfinger or something.

Vanilla Herbalife Shake mix
8 oz Silk Light - Chocolate flavor
A little SF/FF Butterscotch pudding
A little Powdered Peanut butter (If you have not discovered this yet you are missing out. 2 tablespoons of it is only 45 calories and takes just like regular peanut butter in your shake. It's basically peanuts with the oils and fats squeezed out)
Ice

This one reminds me of German Chocolate cake
Vanilla Herbalife Shake Mix
8 oz Silk Light - Chocolate flavor
A little coconut cream pudding mix
A dash of coconut extract or imitation coconut
Ice

This one takes just like cake batter

Vanilla Herbalife Shake mix
8 oz. Silk Light - Chocolate flavor
I use pretty much any pudding mix I like in this one
A dash of vanilla extract or imitation
A dash of imitation butter flavoring
Ice

I promise you these are delicious! Give them a try. Hope everyone is keeping on track!

Yes, the herbalifewlc.com site is password protected for some of the pages. I think there is another place that has recipes on it, tho, that isn't password protected. I'll have to look when I get home from work (can't access lots of sites while at work - you know how that goes).

More info to come........

I use the Sugar Free DiVinici or Torani SF Syrups with my shakes, as well as SF Jellos and SF Puddings when called for. I also coat my serving cups with a bit of SF Smuckers Caramel or Chocolate sauce then give the cup a hard shake to make it run down the sides. Makes them very special with no calories in the SF syrups and very few with the puddings, jellos and sauces :)

Today I tried a new shake combo and ordered the cookies and cream shake mix with chocolate protein :) Looking forward to that arriving!

Today I mixed the Berry shake mix with a cup of milk and a blueberry fiber one 50 calorie yogurt... It was DELICIOUS! Thinking about having one for dinner tonight.

For all... I've entered a bunch of shakes and other stuff (including the muffin recipe of Ashley's) in to my Spark Recipes and shared them out. Search for "HL-" everything I put in starts with that!

Here is a recipes for Muffins that I was given by my sponsor when i first started using Herbalife. They are really good, and they do freeze pretty good also.

MARVELOUS MUFFINS

Bulk Dry Mix (makes 5 batches):
4 cups Whole Wheat Flour
4 cups Bran (I used wheat bran, found in cereal area for less than $2)
3 cups Oats
1 cups Splenda
3 tbsp. Baking Powder

Take only2Cups of the Dry Mix and add:
12level tbsp. of Formula 1 Shake (I use Vanilla, but you can probably use another)

Then add the following ingredients:
1 cup Water
2 Egg Whites
1/2 cup Apple Sauce
1/2 cup Splenda
1/2 cup Craisins (I mix c inside the mix and use the other c to top the muffins. You can also use Raisins, Nuts, Blueberries or Chocolate Chips)

Stir until blended.

Makes 6 large muffins, 12 regular muffins, or 24 mini muffins.
1 large muffin, 2 regular muffins or 4 mini muffins = 1 meal
Each batch of cooked muffins makes 6 meals.

Bake at 400 degrees for approx .15 minutes
For the mini muffins, decreased the temp to 350 and the time to 12 minutes
SAVE LEFTOVER BULK DRY MIX
....add Wet Ingredients to 2 Cups of Dry Mix whenever you want Muffins in 15 min.

Hi there,
I do a shake mix which I haven't titled yet but it is sooo good! I take non-fat milk (1cup), 2 scoops cookie mix formula 1, 1 scoop protein powder, 1tbsp peanut butter, 2 tbsp non-fat yogurt and ice cubes for thickness. I mix it in blender and enjoy. Sometimes I add candy like chocolate chips or heath bar chips. It is delicious!

Apple Pie Shake

3 Tbsp Apple Sauce
1 scoop PDM
2 scoops Vanilla F1
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp cinnamon
water and ice to blend.

Note: I buy the Motts individual applesauce, and just put a whole container in it, decreasing the water/ice mixture to make sure the shake doesn't get too watery.

have not tried it. there is a recipe using just pumpkin spice with the french vanilla F1 shake. i'm sure you could research using pumpkin puree in shakes and see what you could come up with.

I haven't tried it yet - the club I go to made a pumpkin shake before this one came out - they used canned pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice....

With the caveat that "I've not tried this, so buyer beware" - how about trying this???

1 scoop vanilla PDM
2 scoops Pumpkin Formula1
1 Tbsp Cheesecake pudding mix (SF if you can find it)
8 oz water
Ice cubes to your desired consistency

I can check with some of the distributors @ my club to see if they have any other ideas to pass along.

White Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake

2 scoops Formula 1 (Chocolate or Vanilla)
1 Scoop PPP or PDM (if desired) (chocolate if you have it)
1 Tbsp White Chocolate Pudding
1 Tbsp PB2 (a powdered peanut butter)
8 oz water
Ice cubes to blend

My local Nutrition Club introduced me to PB2 - it's a powdered peanut butter with 85% less fat calories than regular peanut butter. You can find it here www.bellplantation.com/ . They have a store locator on the site. If you can't find PB2, you can use regular peanut butter, but play around with the portion.

This recipe was requested by Tiffany. I didn't "measure" exactly on the ingredients, but guessed at what I used.

Hi everyone! I'm doing the Herbalife Weight Loss Challenge in Austin and am LOVING the shakes! Was wondering if everyone wouldn't mind posting their best shake recipes - particularly recipes for the dutch chocolate shake. (I've looked on the website and most of the recipes I find are for the vanilla.) Right now I'm doing a Chocolate Peanut Butter shake that is REALLY yummy:

2 scoops dutch choc Herbalife powder
1 cup light plain soy milk
1.5 or 2 tablespoons scoop peanut butter
1/2 a banana
1 packet of splenda
handful of ice cubes

Like I said, really delicious but wouldn't mind having a few other recipes up my sleeve to keep me from getting bored.

Thanks everyone!! :)
