I'll use a big exercise ball every once in awhile, but I typically like to do strength training w/o equipment. Sometimes I'll even you tube a strength training workout for arms, or core and I always find something different to keep me motivated.
I know its a bit stereotypical but you could do spark people workouts - when you need weights use a can or beans or a bottom of water - it's enough if you are beginning and when you need a mat for cushioning on the floor a thick towel is fine but if you need it to be non-slip as for some yoga/pilates exercises it doesn't work. Well done you for getting into strength training - I still struggle.
I am new to SP and I have never really worked out before. I have a few "Sweating to the Oldies" DVD's but I am not sure how to do the strength training since I have no equipment and going to is not an option at this point. Any ideas? I don't even have weights.
