I kinda sorta blew mine today. I had an awesome day, but started it off with a Lo-Fat Carmel Maciata (sp) frm Starbucks to celebfate the first day of our Pre=School. Then when I got home I had some Egg Salad on Club Crackers. The Coffee and the Crackers put me WAY WAY over my carb limit. Every thing else I had, including my bacon, egg salad, Starbucks Salad, jello/yogurt, and the Cheese Whiz are totally allowed. Would have only been about 20 carbs without the Coffee and Crackers.

I have to go to my bf's family thing and they always have lots of food they all are over weight, if I don't eat they get upset so I have lots of food but mostly little tastes of EVERYTHING!! I plan on eating a good breakfast so I'll be fullish before I get there, so I won't eat as much and I'll try to eat just the heathly stuff if anything is there! LOL!!!
I have had days like this. This week has not been particulary good. I hosted a BBQ last saturday for my Inlaws 35 wedding Anniversary and I had some yummy left overs. I know I should have just thrown them away but I cant get myself to throw away good food. So little by little I have ate the rest of the cake I had and some Oreo Pie. Well all the bad stuff is gone now. next time I will send it ALL home with anyone who will take it and just throw away the rest. Having it around is just too tempting.
This saturday is not going to be easy either. Its family day at my Husbands reserve unit and last year they had fried chicken and the main dish. I am bringing some good stuff to share but Hopefully there will be some other healthy stuff. Otherwise I will just have to be on major Portion control.

Thanks girls!!!! boy I guess it is alright and perhaps our bodies need a calorie boost to shake things up. I didn't eat just junk food. they had prime rib and cod and wild rice and buns and....... Oh it was so good!!!
i think we all go through times when we blow our diets. its hard when there are lots of goodies around and you are trying to maintain a diet. the thing i remember when i go to special events is everything in moderation. if you want a piece of that cake, it is fine, but i scrape the extra icing off. it tends to help cut out some of the sugar and calories.
Boy do I ever! LOL! But this is something that I let myself do, I used to do it after my weigh-in on Sat but it would end up going into Sun. So then I switched my weigh-in day to Monday, that way I only have the one day of "letting" go! The scale goes up a pound or 2 but by Wed it's back to normal. You said everything is loose and baggy[cothes] so hey once in a while it is ok, and even once a week having a treat or 2 is ok, not eating the treat is not a good thing, know what I mean? That will end up making u or should I say me have binges so if I really want something anytime of the week I eat it cause if I didn't I just end up going over broad. I do know what u mean about being irritated but those 2 little treats is no big thing if u said you eat a whole bag then I'd be worried!! LOL! You did ok it's OK to have a treat when u want one!

That happens to me quite a bit, especially on the weekends. I finally accepted that it's part of losing weight, and totally normal, so I've stopped beating myself up about it. You said you didnt stuff yourself... see, you've changed your diet habits already :) And it's not like you'll gain back all the weight from eating a few treats. Enjoy the moment and then move on, you're doing so great! :)

Its OK to have a cookie or candy bar every now and then. You can't expect to be "perfect" every day for the rest of your life. Like you said, you didn't pig out or stuff yourself, you just had a cookie and a candy bar. I think you should treat yourself from time to time. Don't dwell!
Well yesterday I went to rally for my home interiors business and my diet went right out the window. I didn't eat like a pig and stuff myself, I simply ate what was offered. Yes, I had a cookie and snack size twix but they were laying everywhere. Yes that was the horrible part today when I tried to log in my calories as best I could but the best part was putting on my suit for these occasions and it hung on me! I had droopy pants!!! But blowing my diet really irritates me especially since I've come so far. Anyone else go through this?
