I was wondering if I actually require the 1200 calorie minimum to still be healthy and lose weight? There's an article I read on here "Calorie Calculation" that gives the calculations to figure out how many calories you need to lose weight and all that. I was curious because I'm only 4'9". So, I followed the calculations, what I came up with is: if I want to lose 1.5 lbs/wk--1100 cal/day, and if I want to lose 2 lbs/wk--- only 850 cal/day.
Now, I don't wanna go too low and shut down my metabolism, but I also dont want to be consuming too many calories. So, now I'm not sure what I should do. Any advice? Thanx much.
