I do what STEPH2003 does. Anytime we go out and I know it is major cals for something really delicious I ask for a to-go box as soon as my food comes, plus I think Japanese food tastes better the next day so it is a win-win!

I'm going next week to my Favorite Japanese place, I haven't been there in months! emoticon
My plan is to eat a good salad for lunch, drink plenty of water with my meals, then at dinner I'm going to order my usual (shrimp/filet in white wine sauce, yum!)but ask for a to-go box when I order so I can put half of everything in there as it's given to me and then eat it for dinner the next day.

Sashimi is a wonderful choice - high in protein! Salmon comes in at about 40 calories per 1 oz piece and tuna at 19 calories. That is one meal you can definitely enjoy! Edamame is also good, about 100 calories per cup but also high in protein and fiber. Steer clear of the spicy tempura rolls or anything with mayo (including my favorite - gyoza!) and you'll be okay.

I usually just order chirashi. I eat the fish alone..and once I get to the rice onthe bottom, I'm pretty full! Just remember..Drink water before and during your meal!

I'm having dinner with friends tonight in a Japanese restaurant. Please advice food I can eat for a healthy diet. I like sashimi so much and afraid of being out of control.... HELP!!!
