Wow that's great, ya they say to switch things up to help kick up weight loss and to help when u get bored! I'm doing the 4 mile Leslie Sansone's walking dvd, I've worked my way up from the 1 mile, so far I'm not bored, I know I need to do other stuff also just not ready to change it up so I'll stick with it!! I hope this does it for u!!

I can't wait for the Dr. to ok me for exercise. These 6 months are taking forever to be up.

There are more important things to do than to worry.

Your plan sounds really good to me.

That's so funny - my youngest daughter does something similar. She's easily bored, so she would get on the treadmill and do intervals. When the recovery cycles came up, she would hop off, pick up the weights, do the exercise and hop back on the treadmill when it sped up again. It worked well for her and she completed her workouts quickly.

If I did that, I'd probably break my neck - LOL!

Wow, great idea! Good for you, switching it up and staying motivated! This also probably keeps your heart rate up while you're doing weight exercises which burns even more calories! Way to go! :)

Lately I've been really bored at the gym, and almost unable to stay on a machine for more than 10-20 minutes. So, I've created a new routine...10 minutes warmup on the elliptical, three weight exercises, 10 minutes on another machine, three more weight exercises, and so on. On days I'm only doing cardio, I break it up into 6-10 minute sessions.

Not only has this helped with the boredom, in the last two weeks, my body fat percentage has dropped two percent!
