It's strange, though, because my roommate is 5'2 and 137lbs. I'm 5'1 and 130lbs. My roommate carries her weight in all the right places though, and meanwhile, I'm stuck with the huge thighs and butt!

We canít become what we need by remaining what we are.
Set your goals high, and donít stop till you get there.
agree w/ pp, I dont think we work differently it just gets carried different, I work with a girl who is 5'7" rail thin and she wears a size 7, when I got down to my smallest weight I wore a size 2 but did not look like that girl and no one could believe it
darn it why cant yoga make me taller? lol
I agree with Jilly. Only the way the weight looks on us shorties, because we don't have the extra room to pack it!

The only thing that I find to be different... is that 10 pounds looks like a lot more on me than my 5'9" friend!

I did not hear anything about this either. I just do my daily cardio and alternate days for my strengthening. That's all!!! Is there any difference??? All are equal, right?

Hmmm...I haven't really found this to be true, I don't think. I'm not sure what the poster you're talking about meant by "differently". I do a mix of cardio and stregnth training, watch what I eat, try to stay in my SP ranges for the day, the basic SP plan really. I think that's a formula that works for most people...it has for me.
I read in one of the posts that short people basically have to work a bit differently with the calories and exercise than taller people. How is it different - maybe there's something I'm missing.
GW: 135 (may lower later)
