For today... I gardened for 20 minutes (lots of squating, weed pulling, and hauling water!). Also, played tennis with my husband for 40 minutes.

May total = 940... Yay! I'm soooooo close to making my personally goal of breaking 1000 by the end of the month. One more day to do it! :-)

Oh my, just back from walk to shops - hubby decided it would be a good idea to get him some beer (I don't drink it) and as it is warm and dry we walked! My legs now about to fall off.
Please add another 50 mins for today (30th) and send someone to massage my legs!

Got back into town yesterday at about 1:30pm. I then worked 90 minutes in getting part of the gardens into shape and planted some more peppers and some egg plant.

I did get some exercise in while I was gone, but I did not record it. I wasn't able to get on the web.

Haven't posted for a while, but have been keeping up with some activity. I think my last post was on 5/23, so here goes...
5/24 - 15 minutes of gardening
5/25 - 20 minutes of push mowing
5/26 - nada
5/27 - 60 minutes of kayaking (yay! the first kayak trip of the season!!)
5/28 - 45 minutes of washing the car by hand
5/29 - 15 minutes of walking ... may still get out and do more before the sun sets! :-)

You all are doing fabulous... I can't keep up!

May total - 880 minutes... I'm so close to break the 1000 mark. That is my goal before the month is over!

I didn't think I'd do very well in May. I had 3 days off from the gym after an all day ride. Mistletoe might have been comfy, but 6 1/2 hours in the saddle is still tough on the legs.

Then I can down with a stinker of a cold and didn't get any exercise until my holiday last week, which mean I could get as much exercise as I wanted.

With tonight's 56 minutes on the treadmill I have done 2751 minutes and still one day left to go!!!

5/29, OK, well I went for the long walk. I used my pedometer and I am not sure how it works. I had set my step at 48", and then today, I set it on Mile. When I got back home it read .89 mile. But it also said 1189 when I put it on step. I think that I have a pretty long stride. My husband cant keep up with me when he is walking with me. lol.
I now need to measure how far I walked with my car. I trust my pedometer in my car more than my walking one.

I went to Cornwall about 10 years ago - my husband's grandfather, who was an orphan, was raised there before moving to Canada as a young man. It's so very beautiful. Hope you had a fabulous holiday.

Well. I've been on holiday, so I have a whole weeks worth to log in. I spent a week in Cornwall and the weather was lovely so I managed to get plenty of exercise in.

Hi all: We are all exercise goddesses I think!! What an amazing amount of minutes for a month... and it isn't over yet! My personal goal is to hit 1,000 by the end of the month. :-)

Walked with DH for just under 2 hours at a decent pace. Boundary Bay is lovely with the low tide that stretches out forever. Sadly, there was a small beached dead whale on the sands; I didn't go near it because of the mud, but many people were pilgrimaging out to see it.
