I always buy my shoes in the kids section, not only is it waaayyy cheaper, but they actually fit the way I need them too! As far as heels though... I dont know how snazzy Kids Heels would be...

I was also going to say www.zappos.com/ but I also came up with several by googling small size shoes.

I wear size 5 and have been able to find them in *some* styles at most places (Macy's, Nordstrom's, DSW, Claire's, other discount shoe places). The problem is, as I've been told by a couple sales clerks, if stores order/receive any size 5s at all, they only get one. And they tend to sell quickly. One sales clerk at Claire's suggested I come in on Tuesdays because that was the day new shipments came in each week (check with your local store for their shipment day).
Have you tried things like inserts -- pads that fit under the ball of your foot? There are also ones you can put inside the heel on closed heel pumps. I've used both kinds in some pumps that I could only find in a size too big, but really liked and got a good price on. Works for some styles, but not all.
I've had good luck around here (Los Angeles area) at the little Mexican-run shoe stores/zapaterias. They seemed to have most every shoe in small sizes and for very cheap (probably not real leather, but the couple pairs I've bought so far have held up well).

Have you tried any online stores? I don't know what sizes Zappos carries but I know they offer free returns which might make it worth checking out.
The only places I'm able to find nice shoes in size 5 is at DSW and Nine West. Niether are in my town so I always have to travel to buy shoes!
I have seen 5's at DSW, maybe contact them and see if they have your size, if not, ask if they know who does carry them? I'm sure there is a mail order out there somewhere! Same issue if you are size 12 or higher.
I have this problem as well without a solution. :-( Its tough! My husband say I'm "a person, only smaller" and refuses to go shoe shopping with me since it is so painful. I'll be glad to hear any suggestions as well!

I'm 4'7" and weigh 121. I wear a size 4.5 in shoes and it seems impossible to find decent high heel shoes that isn't granny or kiddy shoes without breaking the bank. Majority of stores don't even carry anything under size 6. Once in a blue moon I find a pair in size 5 that runs smaller. Even Nordstrom is eliminating the size or selection. Last time I needed evening shoes, I had to spend $178 and that was on a 50% sale.
Anyone else here have the same problem or knows where to shop? Would appreciate a response.
