Welcome we have such a great website in SPARK for helping people make changes in their lives and achieve their dreams and as I have no local diet buddies, its great to have so many supportive online friends also trying hard each day. Its much better to tackle weight gain before you reach obesity, which makes it much harder and leads to health problems making it much harder to lose. Healthy eating for you family will be good too.

Don''t give up, losing weight is like walking downhill and carrying a lighter load as you go. After a while, fill a carrier bag with the weight you have lost and feel good about yourself when you put it down. Eating healthy and drinking lots of water gives you beautiful skin and takes years off you.

I'm a 28 year old SAHM to two boys, who are 6 and 4. Been married for almost 8 years (in three weeks!) and just fell into a nasty trap of weight gain. My main motivations are to look better, be able to run around with the kids more comfortably, and be at a healthy weight to carry a pregnancy. Looking forward to participating in this group!
