Hey guys, now that we are regretting christmas indulgence, lets set ourselves a short-term target to lose the next 5lbs and maybe fit into a smaller size in a few weeks? That will help us feel motivated to keep going for the rest of the year. Congrats BJDuncan, I love getting under 'the next big number'. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Don''t give up, losing weight is like walking downhill and carrying a lighter load as you go. After a while, fill a carrier bag with the weight you have lost and feel good about yourself when you put it down.
Eating healthy and drinking lots of water gives you beautiful skin and takes years off you.

Way to go on the positive thinking. It may take a while but it is so worth it. I know you can do it and it won't kill you.

Stay encouraged! Since Christmas 2007 will come whether we meet our goal or not, why not make it a day where we're closer to the goal? I know I've spent time looking back and saying, I could have done X by now so if I keep going - one day at a time - so I'd rather be closer by then.

You can do it! emoticon

BJDUNCAN - it won't kill you...lol I swear I'm the slowest loser on the planet, but I keep on plugging away and what I lose stays gone. I don't care how long it takes, but I guarantee I WILL be there at the finish line with you!

Way to go on the positive thinking, BJ!! I'm sure you will make it =]

Keep on posting here on the way down - it will help keep all of us encouraged, especially in those dreaded plateau weeks where nothing we do seems to be making any difference. (Yep, guess how I know about those :])
