Sounds the yummiest pop corn ever! I find it easier to resist goodies when I avoid those aisles in the supermarket, don't have hi-carb treats in the house and only have myself to consider. I love being trimmer and more attractive than I used to be, its so addictive, I'm not stopping till I reach my ideal weight!
Don''t give up, losing weight is like walking downhill and carrying a lighter load as you go. After a while, fill a carrier bag with the weight you have lost and feel good about yourself when you put it down. Eating healthy and drinking lots of water gives you beautiful skin and takes years off you.
Ages ago... before I joined Spark ... the neighborhood boy scouts came around with their pop corn fund raiser. My girls and I usually order one thing to be supportive. This year they have this chocolate coated carmel popcorn. We love chocolate, we love caramel, we like popcorn .... so... we ordered it.
It arrived today. I should have just handed it to the kids who eat suger and never gain an ounce (dratted 9 year old). But no... I dutifully recorded all of the "nutrition" stats, entered it into spark... and savored 1/2 a "serving" A "serving" is 1/2 cup, and yeilds 140 calories including 5 grams of fat (4 of whicha re saturated), 24 grams of carbs (16 of which are sugar, and less than one of which is fiber) and a whopping 1 gram of protein. Sigh.
I will not open the can. I will not re-open the can... I will not look at the can.... GET MY HAND OFF THE CAN....
