Drink up....responsibly....throughout the day.

Do not drink your water all at once. You can actually make yourself sick.

Your body will become accustomed to the water volume over time.

Yea water makes me go a lot. When I walk, I need to walk close to home around the block so I can make pit stops. I sure hope it levels off some or I'm going to go get Depends LOL.

LOL this thread made me smile... I am not really new to the Spark but have renewed the vision of a smaller healthier me. Water has been hard to get in but it seems some days are closer than others. Still havent made that 64oz unless we could count coffee which I have heard actually dehydrates you. Wish that were so, bathrooms are long lost relatives popping everywhere I go. On the plus my skin sure feels nice.

Drinking 8 glasses of water over a day is not too much, but it sure is very good for you. The problem of going to the bathroom (what seems like) every 10 minutes tapers off after about a week or two, really. The only harm in drinking too much water is if you do it all at once...so really try to spread it out over the day along with your wise food choices. I do suggest, however, that you get it all in at least 2 hours before you go to bed. Nothing worse that going to the bathroom all day....AND ALL NIGHT, eh?

When you first start drinking more water, then you find yourself in the bathroom more. It does taper off. emoticon

either that, or you just get used to it!

I have the same thing. I wonder if maybe the recommended 8 glasses is a little too much for us shorties (or at least more than we really need)? But maybe like some of you say, spacing it out more will help and also giving the body time to adjust.

Remember on the Weather Channel how they used to say "Your Local Forecast at 8's on the Hour"? At work, they call me "8's on the Hour" because it seems I'm in the bathroom every 10 minutes.

You shouldn't drink super large amounts of water ever. People have been known to die from doing that. You body will get used to the water. It takes a couole of weeks. Lorraine

I have the same problem. My body is trying to figure out why I'm drinking so much coffee but I'm not. I think it's funny that the 64oz of water are making my body react like I had 16oz of coffee.

spreading it out across the day works best for your body.

And your body will get used to it in time!

FUNNY! I'm the same way. I get my exercise minutes in just running back and forth to the restroom.

Okay ... maybe not but I gotta tell ya, 8 glasses of water throughout the day is making me and the potties in my general vicinity mighty close friends. emoticon Do you think it would matter if I drank my 64 ounces before I left the house in the morning ... just sayin'?
