Whatever would be less stressful/discouraging for you.
Personally I would weigh weekly but also take measurements so that even if the scale showed a higher weight the measurements would either be the same or smaller and, over a period (excuse the unintentional pun) of 3 or 4 months a pattern would emerge too which would be a more accurate tracking system

The fourth glass of wine is always a good idea before you do it and a really bad idea afterward! ;-)
It is far easier to MAKE time to exercise than it is to FIND time to exercise. You want results???? MAKE it happen.
I think I will skip the weigh in. Its too early in the game for me not to get discouraged if i see a gain.

Personally, I weigh every day. I'm done with my Aunt Flo days, but after a few months you'll know how much water weight you gain and I found that my stress went down. It was also a pretty good indicator of when Aunt Flo would make her appearance usually a day or two after an unexplained weight gain.
Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.

If it bothers you, just stay off the scale for a week. This is a temporary weight gain. I like to graph my weight and when you do that over time you will see that every month there is a little upward spike but overall weight is moving downward. We have little control over how hormones affect our bodies. Just roll with the punches.
I weigh everyday and Aunt Flo drives me NUTS.
I have been staying close to 106. To see the 108 was painful and worse to boot, I FELT it! I was so bloated and felt disgusting.
To make it worse, it's lasting LONGER than normal. I am on my first cycle since starting Seasonique. I am guessing the flow is heavier as maybe the lining builds up over the 3 months? Usually my flow is 2.5 days, I am on day 4. sigh.
But the weight is starting to go back down, kinda bouncing as you see, but I usually bounce 1.5#.
So it's up to you. If you can stay off the scale and you know it will bother you, stay off. I can't stay off and I know WHY it's up, so I guess I am not as bothered? Today is an official weigh in, but I am not going to change my ticker to reflect it because Flo should have been OUTTA HERE days ago!

In about 7 days auntie flo will be here to visit. This will be the first time that she has came since I started my weight loss journey. I know you retain water during your cycle and it can interfere with weightloss ( what the scale reads) and I really do not want to get on the scale and not see any weight loss or a gain because I feel like it will mess with my head.
Should I skip my next weigh in (on Monday 9-13 only 4 days before my period) ?
What do you ladies do?
