I need a little group support...I have a Morton's neuroma in my right foot, and it has not responded to other treatment, so Friday AM I have to get a cortisone shot. The last cortisone shot I had (for the same problem) was about 20 years ago, at least, and it did cure the problem for all these years, but it hurt like the dickens...it felt like someone set my foot on fire, and gave me an electric shock at the same time! Has anyone had cortisone lately, and honestly, does it still hurt really badly? Did the pain last just a minute or so, or longer? I am trying to prepare myself mentally...I am hoping that I have overdramatized the pain in my mind over the years!
