Lynn- Thank you for playing Jillian and for being very real with me. I appreciate it! I've been logging my calories for a week and a half and staying around 1200. I'm consuming lean proteins like cod and chicken, leafy greens, roasted vegetables, plenty of fresh fruits, 2 servings of whole grains a day, and good fats like almonds and olive oil in moderation. I wont even have a "cheat" piece of chocolate, although I will have 1 packet of crystal light and about two splendas a day. I'm also conscious of my sodium. Admittedly, my biggest problem is drinking water....
But you're right I don't weigh my foods and sometimes I "guesstimate" portions, so maybe some extra calories have been sneaking in. I'm going to monitor that this week and stay around 1200 unless the scale stops moving! Thank you all for your help.
