Hi, there! I haven't used any of her dvds--she seems pretty tough! I love my Chalene dvds and the Shaun T dvd--Hip Hop abs.
I think my healthy weight according to Jillian was 125 for 5'2, but for me my goal weight of 115 is ideal for me. If I could have more muscle at 125, then I think that weight would work for me, but I am more comfortable at 114-116.
Doesn't Jillian have a radio show on Sundays? I listen to her show every once and a while when I'm too lazy to get up! :)
I love Jillian - she's a toughie and she gets results. No experience with her workout video but I wanted to comment on the weight chart.
I am five-feet-tall, so according to the chart, my "healthy" weight would be 115 lbs. But I know from experience that for my small frame, 115 lbs is too much - the weight accumulates around my belly, I look fat, and I am not a happy camper!
I think it's good to have a general idea but weight is as individual as we are. If you're eating healthy, portion-controlled meals, and exercising, the number on the scale at which you feel and look your best is, most likely, your ideal weight.
That would put me at 125-130 which I don't agree with at all. My ideal would be a muscular 120.
I'm surprised to see she has a detox diet because I remember listening to one of her radio show podcasts and she said she doesn't agree with detox diets. I wonder what changed.
edited to add: I love Jillian, she really motivates me because she is the same height and looks the way I would want to look but I'm getting tired of all the money makers she's got going on. Like the biggest loser protein powder that is way over priced for not much protein.

I just bought something off the Jillian website and got a "free 7 day membership" to her fitness site, which I'm going to take advantage of at least to check it out - granted it is on you to "cancel at any time" or you are charged $4 a week (billed quarterly) these sites really like to get you and I think I had to say no to at least 4 different things.
Has anyone else used Jillian's products or her website? What do you like? What don't you like? Any tips that you want to share with the rest of us?
I have used her 30 day shred dvd in the past (bought off ebay) and enjoyed that she kicked your butt even through the tv lol
I am now going to try her detox program - it looks too simple to be true, but I am going to try it out.
I came across this chart that I would like to share - it is a healthy goal weight for different heights and it does go down to 4'10" - you might have to copy and paste it into a word doc or a blank email in order to see it properly - it looks like it doesn't want to copy well here.
