I think I was right about 140-145 when I got married. That was an OK weight for me. I really want to get to at least 150 by my cruise in Dec. I also have a 20 reunion in Oct. hoping to be down to 160-165 by then.

Hi Fisherswife, I can't imagine every being wedding weight again. I was 100 lbs when I got married. Yet I never remember thinking I was thin. Why do women do that?
Whether your goal is an inch away or a mile, the struggle is the same. Hang in there, together we''ll get there!

Another newbie. I am 5'1" and weigh 180. Trying desperately to lose weight before my cruise in Dec. and looking for all of the motivation and support I can find. I love sparkpeople so far and have been tracking my progress for the last week. I will weigh in Sunday to see how much, if any, I have lost. (It has been really hard not to step on the scale this week but I really hope to see a loss on Sunday.)
