I too have been off the boat for a bit. I try, or say i will try to do what is needed to get there. then weigh in day comes and wham...up, or same. I have gotten to the point where i just want to give in. Then I wake up, and i'm giving it my all again. so here is to us. we can do this. I want to get back on track.

Hey!! I'm in the same boat!! I was unemployed and stressed and depressed all through september and october and have gained back 13 pounds and inches on my waist and hips! It feels awful. But with support from friends here I'm getting back on track. You can do this too!!

It is so nice to come here and get support! It has only been a few days and I am down a pound and a half. I know it is probably only water weight but I will take it.

Thanks for the encouragment. It really is easier if you take it one day at a time. I have done really well today on watching my calories. I will leave work and workout right away when I get home. I knew it would be bad when I got onto the scale I just didn't think it would be that bad. I am trying not to let that discourage me.

You can ABSOLUTELY do it! I too have just "gotten serious" in the last few days. Good for you for getting back on the weight loss wagon. Today is a new day and the focus is on it. Don't overwhelm yourself with too many days at once. Go get your goal!

I just started back on my diet and exercise plan and could use some encouragement. Too much stress with the economy and I just let myself do whatever. It took all I had to get on the scale this morning and I have gained back 7 of the 25 pounds I have lost. It really scares me. I hope I can do this.
