Have you tried cashew butter - it is tasty too! mmmmmm I second the dark dove chocolate (caved in yesterday I might add) What I like about it: its about 110 calories for the whole bar. At the most I'll have half a day, but I know if I cave I can adjust for that. :)

Hi, there! I have a chocolate addiction too, but I figured out how to just eat it in moderation. I'm on a dark chocolate kick now. I eat the 70% or higher dark chocolate that you can buy at Trader Joe's or the Dove brand if you don't have a Trader Joe's. The dark chocolate is very satisfying, but not sweet and doesn't have lots of sugar like the usual milk chocolate. In fact, I still have my Halloween candy at my house which I haven't really touched because I love my dark chocolate more. I don't even have to eat a lot of it really. You should try that. It works.

Oh, I agree with someone regarding the Marantha brand--it's good. I love the almond butter; it has a sweet (not too sweet) flavor. The calories aren't too bad either along with good amount of protein.

Anyway, I'm in maintenance mode now and sometimes a pound or two creep up, but that's when I have to really up the cardio and watch my eating a little more.

Have you read Eat This Not That? I really like the supermarket version. I'm just amazed all the different foods and how much calories each thing has--even if it does say light on the carton. There are way more healthier choices out there, but you've got to look for them and read the labels. I couldn't believe how many calories a muffin was, so now I just eat half of it and make sure I work out extra that day. (Trust me, that muffin is worth it!) emoticon . It's only once a week, so I allow myself this indulgence. :)

I made the switch to Peanuts Only, but didn't care for the flavour. I tried a pound of peanuts put in machine, and ground them up, Health Food store. Um good. Took awhile to get used to it. Like Sara, I now prefer this PB, the others taste too sweet, salty or oily. Our tastes are very individual. Good Luck.

I usually buy the kind of PB that you grind in the store. But my favorite brand is Maranatha -- which I just won't buy because it's too good and I'll eat an entire jar in 2 days! Second fave is Addams (which is smuckers).

I'm in the same boat. I get down to 122 or 121 and then the weekend hits and it's back up again. I'm sure it's my eating as I'm still working out as hard but notice I'm stress eating.

My few pounds of weight going up and down is not monthly it's weekly...ugh!

I'm trying to stay extremely busy on the weekends, although this past was my anniversary so DH and I went out to eat and a movie (which we hadn't done in 3 years).

I feel like you that I've gotta get over this hump and just continue to see my numbers go down.

I think if we just stay conscious of it and keep it in the back of our heads we can beat it!!

What kind of PB is your PB of choice? consider looking at the labels and moving to one that has less sodium and sugar, or more natural ingredients. I switched to a PB that is only peanuts. It took a bit to make the switch, but I like it more now than regular PB.

good luck :) and vent whenever!

I'm finding it really difficult to control my PB & chocolate addiction seriously! I don't need a lot of weight to loose, so I think it makes it more difficult to stay on track. When I see the scale dip to 113, I'm like woohoo! I can eat what I want, then a fews days later the scale creeps to 116, 118 and I'm like "oh crap." I've noticed a 4lb monthly weight fluctuation. I know I shouldn't rely on the scale...but arg.

Just kinda ranting here.
