Congrats! and welcome to our forum.
My hubby is also a foot taller than I am.
Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, Satan shudders & says ... 'Oh, sh*t...she's awake!!!'

I see that we have the same goal weight....Since you are an athlete I am sure that you work out or at least do some kind of training. What is it that you do?? I also am a college student but athletics is not really my thing...I am a music major. Anyway, since I have made a decision to really work on losing weight I have felt better about myself and have a new confidence I have never had. And I love it and it makes me want to try all the harder. I think just making the decision to lose weight and be healthy is one of the biggest steps. Good for you!
Thankyou for the encouragement....and I hope so.
Congrats on the baby and I'm sure you'll achieve your goal in no time!
Hey all, I am 5ft and 2 in ( my hubby is almost a foot taller than me :-)) I am pretty new to sparkpeople but so far loving it...i just had a baby 7 weeks ago ( my second) and I still had not lost the weight from the first one so I decided to finally do something about it. My goal is to lose somewhere between 21 and 31 lbs or fit into a size 8 ( maybe a 6) :-)
