I want to be between 125-130 but for now I am shooting for 150. Back to what I was when I had my daughter.

Ideal weight is usually less then what I am these past few decades . But being in my late 50's I've upped my ideal weight from 110 to 125 - My goal weight is always 5 pounds less than what I'm currently at, then readjust every few months for 5 less pounds, till I'm comfortable. I was 110 until I hit my 30's- then just picked up pounds very easy!!! It was a shock how fast the weight came on and stayed. (gained 40, have lost 10 from top weight)

I'm just over 5'1". Currently I weigh about 110, I lost about 10 pounds between October and December 2012, and have been stuck around 109-110 the last month. A couple years ago I weighed about 102, but then gained some weight. My goal is 98 pounds!

I'm 5'1 and weigh 148 hoping to go to 130 but, thats only my first goal when I reach that hopefully I will get to 120. But my doctor also said at my age its pretty tough to do (pushing 60) but she would be happy with what ever I lost. I am so glad my female doctor is also my age she understands the problem. If you look at what we are suppose to weigh at our height 105 to 110 its seems pretty daunting. But, I always say one pound at a time.
Good luck to all

I'm between 5'2" and 5'3". My ideal weight is whatever gives me the confidence to wear size 2s or 0s. The number on the scale has been different at different times based on muscle tone, etc. So anything from 105-120 has made those sizes happen.

I'm five foot even. Have medium frame. I however have been "blessed?" with a chest that would look great on someone who is six feet tall. I saw a nutrionist who told me I have to factor that into my goal weight (I've pretty much stay the same even when I lose weight) so my goal is 135.

I am 5' even and my goal weight is 125 lbs. This is based on my age - I am a grandma. I have 25 lbs. to loose. I did talk to my doc when I went for a physical and he said that would be an ideal weight for me based on my age and medium frame. If I ever manage to get serious long enough to get to my goal, I think I'll be happy at that weight. I wear a size 10 now so I'm sure at 125 lbs. I'd be in a 6. I weighed 105 lbs. in my 20's but if I weighed that today, I'd look old and wrinkled. Age does play a big part in setting your ideal weight. People always guess my age 10-15 years younger then I am. I think some of that has to do with the fact that I have some meat on my bones. I just want to shave some of that meat off the bones - but not get to the bone .

I'm 5'3", medium frame, 40 years old, and my goal is 126. That's pretty close to the middle of the BMI range, and reasonable I hope. I got down to 125 for about 5 minutes 6 years ago and thought I looked really good there. I was at 130 in high school and had a set point of 138 in college. When I was at my highest weight, 197, I would have been thrilled to get down to 140, but now that I'm working so hard to lose this weight, I want to end up at my best.

5'2" and my ideal weight is 135. It's been so long since I've been @ 135 that it seems unrealistic. I know it's possible and as I get closer to it, 135 will seem within reach for me. Right mow I'm concentrating on getting under 200!

At 5'3" my goal is 112. My doctor wants me down to 105 but I think that's too skinny. I'm very small framed. My doctor will still complain if I only get down to 120. I was 112 lbs when I met my husband and I felt good at that weight although the only watches I could get to fit my wrists were childrens watches, only way I could wear an adult watch was to get one that I could have links taken out of.

I am 5'2 I am pretty bottom heavy. I enjoy being curvy though. I went through a time where I was so skinny I could count my ribs and I never want to go back to that. My approximate goal weight is 140ish. I do not have a set in stone goal because I do not know how I will look at that weight. I just want to be happy in my own skin :)

I am 5'2.5 and am currently at 133lbs. My first goal is to see the 120's on the scale again, and after that, I would love to get back down to my pre-baby weight of 118, but that may be a little unrealistic. One step at a time!

I am 4' 11 7/8" or 5'. My lowest weight as an adult has been 115 lb. I am currently 139 lb and 115 is my first goal. I am exercising daily and eating healthy foods, so perhaps I will be happy with 115 this time. I would love to have Canadian buddies around my stats to encourage and be encouraged by.

i'm 5' 1-1/2, so the BMI says my ideal weight is below 136 to be in the 'normal' range.
I weighed between 125-130 until I had my kids, and then weighed 130-135 for about another 10 years. Then some health problems, life problems, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc and since then I have been about 40 pounds over for several years. I am now on plan to get those 40 pounds off to get back to a 'normal' BMI. I have already gone from 'obese' to just 'overweight' !
Once I get there, I will see if this 50 year old body can go back to the 130 range where I looked and felt REALLY good.
I'm not losing weight- I'm GETTING RID OF IT! I have no intention of finding it again. (taken from a spark coach motivational message)

I'm 5'0" and was a constant 99 pounds until I had my first son. Then I went up to 115. After my second son, I got back to 105, a weight that I felt really good at. Unfortunately, the scale has crept wayyyy up since then!
I have a very muscular build, so I'm trying to be realistic that if I'm doing strength training and building toned muscle, 105 will not be a realistic goal weight. I'd be happy with a lean, mean 115-120 pound body, for sure!

i've been overweight throughout my adult life, but i would like to see what 135 looks like. my "weight range" says i should be 99 - 120, and woo!, can't even imagine that. right now, at 5'2.5, i'm just looking at getting healthy and i think that will naturally lead me to 135 or less. good luck everyone!

Hi everybody, I just joined this group. I started back on my diet last week and it's been a struggle. According to a couple of websites, the calculated ideal weight for me is 82 to 90 lbs. I'm hoping to get to 87. I looked good and felt great when I was at that weight. I'm 4'7" and currently weight 121. I was at 125 last week.
