I am SO GLAD to hear I am not the only one. This site is AMAZING, but after so many months with it it just seemed to keep building and building on me. The more I got into it the more I wanted. My decisions on what to keep were easier to make once I realized what I missed and what I dreaded when I finally got back on this morning. Some of the emails I subscribed to that I used to enjoy (like the food showdowns) no longer excited me yet were taking up time. I love this group and missed it so I knew it was one I needed to keep. Thanks for reassuring me that this is one of the prices for having a place like this that is SO LOADED with positive traits that we have to make choices with what we take. All things in moderation as we all live by I suppose!

I totally agree with all of you. I was here at SP sometime last year and decided to quit. But, after all these days, I'm missing the SP challenges, motivations and the friends gained here. And, here I am back to basics. emoticon

Welcome back. I am glad to know I am not the ONLY one who is overwhelmed. I need to update stuff on my page, update blogs, and leave about 1/2 of the groups I am in. This is not one of them, but I have already left several who just don't do anything for me. There are some that never get mail or at least I don't get it from them an I have the boxes checked. I am just too far behind now with tons that I will never get read anytime soon. I say, stay with what works and leave that that doesn't behingd.Encourage and be encouraged. If you don't and aren't then it ain't for you. Jude

I do agree the emails can become a little overwhelming. I have gotten to the point where I uncheck the box at the bottom of some of my posts so I don't get an email for every topic I post in. I enjoy reading everyone's posts but I was just getting so many that it took most of my evening just to go through them.

LINDA46 - I totally understand what you mean. I am wondering if part of why I had to let it go was because I got so behind with my emails that it become more of a chore than anything to even log in. I am eliminating some of my teams I don't do much if anything with and also changed my preferences for the emails I do receive. This is one of 3 teams I "can't live without" and I need to narrow down to that. Logging my food needs to become #1 again instead of just checking off my emails. I feel bad if I don't welcome all the newbies as it felt so good to have people welcome me when I was new. I feel very energized and renewed today which I haven't felt in a long time. Late evening snacking is my BIG downfall so lets hope I can get through this one!!!

I'm glad your back sometimes it's ok to take a step away to regroup, did u have a ton of emails or were u able to stop them for a while?[I'm on every day but fell behind a few weeks ago so I have 170ish to look at today yesterday it was over 200!!] Girl I have 4 teams I'm with and so many people that have posts, so it's only when I see peoples pics and posts[after not seeing then] that I go oh I remmber so ans so I wondered where she was! LOL sorry.

Hey, everybody. I have taken a couple weeks off from Spark to reassess my goals and try to get my head back on straight with all of this. Starting today I am back and hope to reconnect with you guys!
