I'm 5'2" with a small frame. My ultimate goal would be something around 115. Although I was 107 when I met my husband and loved my body, I want to do a wait-and-see thing before trying to go there. My ticker goal of 125 is my first step.

hi im 5^1" wth a pear shape, im going for 126 if i go much further i tend to loose from the top which i dont want to do, im currently at 143. any one else in the same category i would love to hear from you. we could moan or encourge each other probably about the same problems.

I am 24 and 5'2. My goal weight is 130. However, I have never been anywhere near that weight as an adult (I was 146 at age 13), so I'll see how I feel when I get there! :)

i'm 5'1, and i set my goal weight at 127 because that would put me in the upper end of the "healthy" BMI range - which we all know is sorta bunk because it doesn't take muscular frames into account. However, I felt that it was still a good goal to aim for. I have just over 10 pounds to go (and jeeze i feel like i've been here forever), so I might revise the number once I get there - who knows, maybe I really CAN get down to a lower number. I just really want to feel good about myself in the clothes I wear, and feel completely comfortable playing horseshoes on the beach in my bikini! (i still do it, but i'd rather have NO worries going on in my crazy head)

105-130 is a huge range and I have always struggled with knowing what looks good on me, what is healthy and when is enough enough. I got to 123 between my 2 kids and LOVED it, but this time when I got there it just wasn't enough for me (I think knowing I was going to have another baby was what stopped me the last time and I was tired of paying for WW). This time I got to 123 and decided I would keep going slowly. To be honest I am doing a new official weigh in on Fri. and it looks like I will be resetting my ticker to 122 or 123. I got as high as 124 this summer and trying like heck to get it back to 119 before school starts so I start the year the same as I ended the last. Time to get honest with my ticker and myself with the damage I have done this summer. Getting better already though.

oh I'm glad to find this thread. I'm 5'1 and I'm wondering what my goal weight should be... it's hard to know from up here (in the pounds).... I'm shooting for the low-mid 120s right now.. and still have a ways to go.. but I really don't know what would be right for me. I've looked and researched and found pretty much a range of 105-130 which is a HUGE range!

I'm about 5'1" (maybe!) and currently would be happy to hit the 150 mark again. I was probably about a size 12-14 then (16W-18 now). That was right after college - now 12ish years ago. Once I'm there, I'll see how I feel about it. I tend to think that bodies have a "set point" or weight that is where it wants to be. I don't want to have such a rigid goal that I don't listen to what my body tells me and set myself up for a battle I can't win. Thus, I'm trying to be more healthy without really solid number goals. Just "be healthier" goals!

I am just shy of 5'2 and been told that I look the best between 102 and 104 but anywhere between 98 and 110 looks okay (of course I think it looks too fat). I have a very small frame, tiny wrists, and such so carrying more weight would not be good for me.

I'm 5'2" and I'm shooting for 130. I was 110 in high school (a million years ago-I'm 49) but I would be pleased to see 130--after that I might aim for a little lower. Wish me luck--I need encouragement!

I'm 5'2.5 with a medium frame and when I first joined Spark 125 was like my dream weight but now that i've been progressing and see that it's actually attainable my mind has changed. I'm now looking to ultimately reach a nice toned 112-115 as my final goal emoticon .

I'm the same as Evelynia, 5'3" and shooting for 125. I would say I have a med. frame with broad shoulders and narrow hips. My mom said she thought 125 would be too skinny but she always talks about being 118 at 5'2".

At 5'0" and almost 38 (my goal date is my b-day) I'm shooting for 110. I was there a few times (7 yrs ago and 2 yrs ago). I have 1 pic of myself at 110 in '06 and miss being there soooo bad!!!!!!!
I'm 142 right now UGH!

BUTTERFLYNOW: at 125 and working out you were called "too skinny" and at 120 you were bigger?!?!?!

That really is my problem right now. When I was thin last time I had time to exercise. Then I didn't and GAINED! I still don't have time to exercise and diet alone isn't cutting it!!! I feel between a rock and a hard place!

I'm almost 32, and 5'1". I think I have a medium frame, but everyone else says its small. I'm pear shaped, so I have small hands, wrists, shoulders, waist, bust, but enormous hips, thies and FEET (the bain of my existance, size 8.5 wide shoes).

About 4 years ago I was down to 11% bodyfat and weighed 117 lbs, wore a size 2 and looked pretty hot in a bikini (well except for the boob area). There was no way possible for me to loose any more weight without loosing muscle too. I want to be muscular, so I put my goal at 119 pounds. I did just have my 3rd baby and I'm afraid my hips are doomed. If I get down in the 120s and can wear size 5's, I'll be happy.

Hi, this is an interesting topic for me because right now I weigh 125. I have a small frame too.

If you click on my photo gallery you will see a picture of me taken at 123 lbs. Keep in mind that I am 48 and post menopausal so I gain weight differently now than I did in my 20s......but you can see how out of shape I look at 123 and 5'1". You can't even tell in the photo that I am small boned because so much fat is covering them. So for me 110 or slightly under looks better. I don't look "boney" at all at that size. I basically lose my "muffin top" gut and the flab on my thighs.

So as you can see from my pic, I am not too thin at 123!....but that is my body and as others have said, every body is different.

From the photo on your spark-page, you look gorgeous the way that you are! You're at a BMI of 24 now, not a bad place to be. I know there's lots of pressure on young people to be ultra-thin but the old-geezers like myself still think that women are meant to have a few curves. Try not to be so hard on yourself.

I agree as a woman 5'2" and 133 pounds and wearing a size 8 and looking damn good in it. I'm trying to slow down my weight loss at the moment and eating a little more than I put on my nutrition tracker. It's so nice to be able to wear clothes now that I haven't worn in years.

My goal won't be a weight or a size, but looking and feeling the best I can.

I am 5'2" and my goal weight was 110 before I started an exercise "bikini" boot camp. This is an extensive highly cardiovascular workout, not to mention toning. I won't go into details, but my point is that I have actually gained weight since starting because I am converting fat to muscle. So before when I thought 110 was my perfect weight, now I don't know what my perfect weight will be. When I get fit back into that size 4 and look hot in my swim suit this summer, whatever weight I am, that's the perfect weight for me.

It's not what you have, it's what you do with it that counts.

OVERFIFTY3 at your current weight if you use BMI as a calculator you are underweight. Be careful about reducing your weight further as it may damage your health. I don't want to lecture, i'm just concerned emoticon

my frame is medium with wide shoulders and rib cage. My goal weight is 124, and I can see myself at that weight still with nice curves. My husband thinks if I can get down to 140 he would be happy with that as he likes curves.

I don't know if 5foot is close to 5'2'' but I sure wish I was. Since I can't control the height I can at least control the weight. People tell me I have a small frame but I think it's med. I have been as high as 110 in college and as low as 83 at age 40. Right now my goal is to reach 93, I think I look the best and I test myself by how cloths feel. I hate taking up pants so I try really hard to stay between 90-93.

Kvrombaut and LJackson111 - Same body problem here. Only thing is, my thighs are just fine. I feel like have jumbo calves, and this little pudgecicle under my bellybutton! My arms are a little flabby too. ZeinaOP, that sounds like an ideal goal range.

5'1 and 1/2 (because the 1/2 is important right?) I have a medium size frame but have never (as an adult) weight less than 160. My goal is to get to 140 and see how it all looks from there. How I look and feel is more important than the # for me. I tend to carry a lot of muscle in my legs. At 160 is was wearing 10-12's.

This was a great question. It proves that height is not always a good measure to base your ideal weight on. I think I would look skeletal at 115 and someone else with a smaller build would likely feel a little heavy at that weight. And we would both be right.

I am 5'1&1/2", I wasn't even 100lbs in high school
but that was a long time ago! My goal weight right
now is 125. When I reach that goal I may re-evaluate
and shoot for 115. I'm a medium build I'd say, like
some of the other posts I tend to have broad shoulders.

I have issues around my waist, I thank God I have a chest to balance it out. I'm currently 193 with a goal to reach 125-128, I'm really comfortable and confident at that weight with my body shape.

I have the same body type KVROMBAUT...the lower body is the "problem" area...it's all between the knees and waist for me.(I have absolutely no issues with my ankles or my calves for that matter) ;-))

I am ALMOST 5'2" and when I first started to lose weight my goal was 116 after I reached that I change it to 110. I currently weigh around 105. Everyone’s' goal is different. I know I don't want to weigh over 115, I have a stocky lower body and that is where I gain my weight first.

I'm 5'2" and 44 years old. I never weighed less than 112 since I grew to this height. I looked scrawny at 116 or less. I have broad shoulder, huge elbows and large feet. I'm large framed according to most methods of testing it. When I weighed less than 116, I didn't feel healthy when I was a teen. I needed to starve and workout excessively to maintain it. I was always cold and didn't get my period.

My goal is 124 since that's the lowest I maintain over the age of 21. I looked rather thin at that weight. I think I look rather thin at my current weight. I'm rather surprised that everyone has such a much lower goal than I. I don't want to look scrawny.

I want nice curves and hard muscles. At my current weight, I'm starting to see definition lines on my legs and abdominals. I think losing 9 more pounds is about right.

At 49 years old, I've shrunk a little and am now almost 5'1". Ideally, I'd like to be 118 but if I ever see 125 I'll be thrilled. At 145 right now, it's not good.

Well, I am certainly between small and medium frame. . . probably closer to small really(at least that is what everybody in my life tells me). My goal was 122 which is what I am getting ready to log in this week. I have chosen to give 114-118 a try, but . . . I really am pretty happy right here. I am just on a roll and want to see what I can do. Be careful not to make too low of a goal! We can always play with it as we go, too.

5' 1 3/4" emoticon Thin in the hands and feet, broadish in the shoulder and hips, so my goal weight is 115 to 120 (size 5/6). I have weighed 122 and looked great, and felt great but was as tight as I have ever been in my life - worked out "hard" 5 days a week! Then in my early 20's I weighed 110, but that was half a life ago. At 42 I hope to keep some womanly curves. (wouldn't mind squeezing into a 4 occassionally though!)

My goal weight is between 110 and 105. I would be happy with 115 though.

I think Im with the 2 ladies below me. Medium frame. Im not sure though. My goal weight was originally 130. If I make it I will keep trying for less depending on whether I still dont like my look.

No Im not doing this for looks but it would be nice to look hot. Not that it really matters my hubby met me when I was huge lol.

I'm in the same boat as SJEM01, 5'2" with average frame and broad shoulders. After having my 2nd child I got all the way up to 152, and my goal on here has come up as 121. I just put in a date and that is what it came up with. The lowest I have ever been was 115 in High school. I tend to carry all my weight in my mid section. Things I have seen say that someone of our height should weight anywhere from 100-133. That is a big range, so I think there are a lot of factors that go into which weight is right for you.

I'm 5'2" but don't have an extremely petite frame - I have quite broad shoulders and broad back - wear a 36" bra and have done even when slimmer!! My goal just now is 126 and we'll see when I'm there but my ultimate goal is also currently to tone up and lose the fat still sitting on my thighs and belly.

I'm 5'2" and have a very small frame (my shoulders are virtually non existant!). I had an original goal of 105 which I reached but have not been able to maintain consistantly. Ultimately I want to reach 101 and maintain between 101-105.

This is a great question. I'm 5'2" and am currently maintaining at between 115 and 120. I am comfortable here but my "dream weight" is 110 (what I weighed in high school). But I'm not sure if that is realistic/healthy. I think I'm more interested in toning what I have than in losing weight.

But I am curious to hear what others have to say...

Especially those w/ small frames like myself... just curious as to what your goal weights are. I'm not entirely sure what I want to go for and am curious of others' goals.
