Yay for everyone who have lost... I started out with 119 lbs. and now I'm down to 114.2 just about this afternoon when I weigh in. I was out of town this past weekend and my diet went down the drain but I manage to workout with DVDs and this week I've been kicking my butt off to the gym everyday to compensate for the bad weekend.

This has been a crazy month! I haven't worked out for the past week or so, and I really miss it! Monday is the start of a whole new week, and I am determined to make the most of it.

With that said, let me say I was surprised when I weighed myself this morning. I started out at 125 this month. The scale showed about 122 this morning. So, overall, that's about 3 pounds. I'm okay with that. Especially since I expected to have gained due to my lack of activity the last few days.

I am down 4 from 129-125. I know I should be happy with that (and I am!), BUT I started my time of the month today (LUCKY ME!) so absolutely nothing good is happening (physically) to me this week. That's ok! I intend to get double my money next week!

Ok, today's the last day of this challenge, so I'm posting my weight. I weighed 141 this morning. Started at 147, so that gives me a loss of 6 lbs. for the month. Yea!

Unfortunatley I GAINED two pounds since I started! BUT Now I have taken off the extra two pounds + one, so I'm glad I'm in the negative now. But I wish I could have done better! Oh well

Well I had gained some back but now lost that. Started this at 144.4 and am at 143.2 so not that much lost this month yet. Next week will be different. I have to get to bed earlier to have energy to exercise. I weight every day. I think that gets me to say "hey got to watch" or "maybe I can treat myself a little bit" I don't go above the 1500 unless it is really special (birthday, anniversary) . I have to stay at 1200 cal most days. If I don't the scale does not budge.

I only weigh myself once a week. I try to do it on the same weekday. It works for me.

TDMABRY: That makes total sense! I think I will give it a try because I fluctuate like crazy! About a month and a half ago saw 146 and I havenít seen it since and it really bugs me. I have seen 147 more than a few times though. I also weigh myself everyday because if I go up I can get motivated to try harder and if I go down I get motivated cause it is working. Haha

That's exactly why I weigh every day too. It keeps me accountable and makes me watch what I eat more. That makes sense about the weight you list on here. I ought to try that because like you said just because I see a low weight one morning doesn't mean I'll see it the next. I need to start doing that. Thanks for the idea! Kkiser96 - I had a WW leader once tell me it was bad to weigh myself every day. So, I tried it her way. Gained 2 lbs. in 1 week! I HAVE to weigh daily to keep myself in check. When I see the scale go up like you referred to at this point I realize it is a natural fluctuation in water, hormones, etc. I don't panic. When doing it once a week if you land on one of those days THE day you weigh in you are shellshocked and EAT. Not so good. I don't claim a weight on Spark until I see the next lb. down at least once. Right now I am claiming 127 even though I have seen 126 a few times now. As soon as I see 125, 126 it is! It may not make a lick of sense to anybody else, but it works for me. emoticon

Same as TDMABRY, I am down 3 and working on 4. I'm bad I weigh myself daily and I have gone down and up a couple times since Feb. 1. Atleast I'm still losing consistently though. Outside of this goal I had set a goal to lose 10 by Valentines since I first started and I only have 2 more to go. Yea! I'm gonna work my butt off. Hoping to lose a total of 8 or so for the month. WE CAN ALL DO IT! YOU GO GIRLS!

When I started this challenge I weighed in at 146 my lowest in a couple of months. Then I went back up to 148 and now 147. Originally my goal was to be 140 by March 1st! I really need to kick it into gear or I will have gained on this challenge. emoticon

I can tell you that on Feb. 1st I weighed 120.5 lbs... but I'll be joining almost half way through the month! But I am down to 119 right now and I just hope that this challenge will keep me inspired to lose between 5-9 lbs before the end of the month.

don't you just hate those 10 course wedding meals. Don't worry about it. one night of 2400 calories won't hurt alot, only a little. I had a breakfast waffle today with raspberries and whipped cream. At least I had fruit. LOL. That will be it until dinner. Anyone who wants to join this challenge can do so anytime. I fell of the wagon for about a week now, so I would say I have just started this challenge.

Today I am 125.8. I am not doing a victory dance yet, because this is toward the bottom side of my plateau I have been on FOREVER. When I see anything below 125 then you will see me jumping up and down until then...just keep swimmin', just keep swimmin.... emoticon

wow, great to see everyone wanting to look good in that bathing suit for the summer. I know I do. I put on a pair of pants I purchased that were too tight when I bought them. They were the only petite pair, so I had to buy them. (no hemming!!!) Well today I got them on with no trouble.

only thing you have to do is state your weight then on the 29th give me you end weight. The hard part is the ensuring the feb 29th weight is lower than todays weight.

Mine today is 144.2. I will put a list together and give the winner on March 1 (i guess)

I really need this as a kick-start. I am going on a vacation on March 3rd for one week and really want to loose before then. 10 lbs at least would be a great start.

I am in! My own personal goal is to lose AT LEAST 5% of that by the final weigh in on Feb 29th. It may be a tall order, but I think I can pull it off (or at least close to it).

My starting weight is... 137.4lbs!

Anyone up for at February challenge. Let's call it the Leap Year challenge. Weight yourself today or before February 1 and then final weight in would be February 29th. Highest % weight loss wins. No prize, just bragging rights I guess. I guess this would be open to anyone not just 5'3" and under.
