Hey boy do I know what u mean but thank goodness I work in a guard house so IF the sun is out I get to enjoy 8 hours of it, the down side if it is, if it ain't I don't! LOL!! I also have to go outside to give drivers their premits to get in, so rain or snow or nice I'm in it. But ya I too want to be in bed by 8ish if that, but I get up at 4:30!

And it getting dark at 4:30ish is a killer too. Seems like time for bed and it is still 5 hours or more away. Makes me feel sluggish and I start to nibble more. Not good!

Good luck to everyone -- I agree it is a lot harder to fight the laziness - especially with winter coming! I feel like I am slipping into hibernation mode, as well. Happy to report that I have gotten back on track with my eating over the last several days. Hopefully, I can stick with it.

For me it has been that life started taking over. During the summer months I wasn't working and I could give my full devotion to spark--logging, eating right, getting my water in, etc. Now that I am back at school I have lost the drive a little bit.
Today is the first day in a long time that I packed my food--which I should have been doing all the time!
I found that I was going to the vending machines much too often and there is nothing but sugar in there!!! So last night I resolved to get back at it.
We'll see how it goes!
The one good thing that has kept me pretty much at maintainence is that I have continued to workout.

Good luck everyone!! Let's resolve not to slip into laziness!!!!emoticon

Hi I'm going thruogh[sp] the same thing I was at my goal of 110, but went up to 113 I was there a LONG time but I started to slip off the wagon, then about 6 days ago jumped up to 115 then I fall off, self inflicted, now I'm 117.4 so I'm afird now that this happened I'll keep again up so I can beat myself up even more. Did this happen cause we don't think we should be at a heathly weight[know what I mean?], or just being[in my case] LAZY?

I go through cycles of this. I am happy with my loss so I start to eat more, or more likely binge with me. Then i get back on the wagon. eg. Reached goal on fri then 'cheated' all weekend. Hopefully back on the wagon today! Going to lower my goal so can't afford to cheat!

Me, too!!

I'm recommitting to watch carefully what enters my mouth. If it's not healthy, I'm going to avoid it. I've been consuming way too much junk lately.

Oh this is soooooooooooo true. I have become comfortable also and am finding it difficult to lose. I am actually at my original goal weight, but had decided when I reached it I wanted to lose 5 more pounds, but the thing is I am really not trying as hard, yet I do really want to lose it. I have to just get beyond this complacency too, because I am really not totally satisfied. With winter soon upon us, I find I am getting lazier and into hibernation mode. Must fight that mind set with all that is in me!!!!

yeah, now that I think about it... the extra calories have really been coming from mindless snacking more than anything. i have gotten stuck in this "oh I can have a little of this and that because i'm exercising so much" mindset. i've gotten a bit complacent, i guess. BUT - i'm not going to quit now! i'm going to try and make this week a much stronger week! :) thanks for the suggestions and support!

I think this happens to a lot of people. Really look at what is making you eat. Sounds like you're sure getting good exercise. Take a few moments and talk to yourself. One thing I suggest too would be to go the the Spark motivation articles and read one or two a day to maybe help you keep going. You can't lose your momentum at this point, kiddo. Get on track and the best of luck!!!!!

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.

OK, so I am less than 4 pounds away from my original SP goal of 129. And for some reason I am suddenly having a hard time staying within my calorie range... consequently I have not lost any weight for the past 2 weeks... I have still been burning a lot of calories from cardio (this week I burned over 2200 cals!) I just have been giving in to my urge to "cheat" on my diet a little too often... not overeating, by any means, but still over my range. Part of it is that I have been really hungry from working out so much. I don't know... I think part of the problem also is that I am just so close to that "magic number" (even though, in reality I would like to lose a few more pounds after I get there!!)

Anyone have any advice? :)
