I did say after double coupon... I think it was $1.23 normal price for the whole grain barilla. My store will double 5 coupons for a $25 order. Then if you really want more double coupons, come back in and do it again. I only do it twice, as I feel I am taking too much advantage if I do more and I don't want to take all day to grocery shop.

Wow...food in Wisconsin must be less expensive than in Connecticut! .13 for a box of Barilla whole grain pasta (after your .55 coupon)? What an incredible deal you got!

The regualr price of one box of whole grain Barilla pasta here is: $1.65
I used a $1.00 off of 2 (boxes) coupon.
Which made my final cost $1.15 per box

When Ronzoni came out with their new products (Healthy Harvest, Smart Taste, Garden Delight) there were a number of chances for free pasta, especially with double coupons. Lately, the whole grain barilla $.55 off 1 coupon 1/8/12 SmartSource insert makes pasta at my store $.13 I think after double coupon without a sale. This past week would have been free, but I had already used the two coupons I have obtained so far. There is also a dreamfields coupon out $.55 off 1 from 1/15/12 SmartSource insert, but their regular price is higher.

I use a lot of pasta sauce coupons, salad dressing coupons, pasta, riceland rice often times has coupons, cereal coupons and some others. But yes, those of us who aren't buying as much processed foods aren't going to save a ton, but every bit counts right? IE I have been able to find free pasta, really cheap salad dressing, etc. Great deal on Ragu pasta sauce this week at my grocery store. Buy $15 worth and get $5 coupon off your next order and there are $1 off 2 coupons out, or buy $20 worth and get $7 off your next order. May stock up a bit, as my family is pasta sauce specific, flavor and brand.

I'm curious as to how much those of you who try not to eat a lot of processed foods actually save each week by clipping coupons. Is it minimal?

My big savings today's grocery shopping trip was a total of $10.00 in coupons (and that's a lot for me, since I try to keep the snacks & processed foods to a minimum)

I actually had a 50 cents off coupon for baby carrots (because I wrote to the grower)
I used a 75 cents off coupon (doubled @ 1.50) for a half gallon of Silk Almond Milk
I had a $1.00 off coupon for Stoneyfield Organic yogurt (4 pack)
I used a $1.00 off coupon for Emerald (brand) almonds
I used a $1.00 off coupon (for 2) for Barilla Whole Grain pasta

The rest of the coupons I used were mostly for healthy (or somewhat healthy!) snacks.
